Dima and Varya first crossed paths in 2014 while working at the big real estate company — she was 21, he was 19, and romance wasn’t even a thought. They were simply colleagues then, with Varya watching Dima grow from a young intern into a rising star in real estate. He was in a relationship at the time, and their connection stayed purely professional.

Location: Moscow, Russia
Style: Elegant, effortless, natural
Number of guests: Over 100
Season: Fall
Setting:
Countryside Villa

In 2018, Varya was at a soccer match when she noticed a mutual friend’s post from the same game. She reached out, only to learn Dima had planned to go but skipped it due to a cold. Wanting to reconnect, she offered to meet his dog, but Dima skipped the small talk and invited her over instead. A week later, she showed up in her old Peugeot, and he greeted her with a bottle of wine. That night, something shifted. The next day, they were officially a couple, and three weeks later, they were living together.

Six years later, Dima proposed just before a helicopter tour over New York. Since proposals aren’t allowed mid-air, he dropped to one knee right before takeoff, making it unforgettable.

Couple's Morning & Fashion

The morning of the wedding felt calm, intimate, and quietly cinematic. Varya and Dima began their day in matching silk pajamas, standing hand-in-hand outside their house — a relaxed and charming moment before the celebrations began.

Varya’s wedding look was romantic and effortless. She wore a voluminous Nicole Wedding gown with layers of soft tulle and delicate detailing. Her hair fell in loose waves, and her makeup was kept natural, enhancing her features without overpowering her look — the perfect balance of modern bridal elegance.

Ceremony

The couple chose a unique location for their ceremony — not the typical lawn, but directly in front of the venue’s main hall. Its facade was softened with flowing, earth-toned fabric layers, creating a warm and understated backdrop. A custom-built tiered platform placed the couple at the heart of the scene, framed by ethereal floral arrangements by FlowersLab that brought both structure and softness to the space.

Surrounded by forest, the setting felt naturally intimate. Guests sat on low, comfortable cushions beneath open skies, with sunlight filtering gently through the trees. The draped canvas across the building’s front — painted in subtle, organic hues — anchored the ceremony with quiet elegance, perfectly tying together the couple’s thoughtful, nature-inspired aesthetic.

The entire wedding was beautifully captured by the talented Vadim Bek, who brought every moment to life. From the excitement before the ceremony to the joyful celebrations that followed, he documented it all — the genuine emotions, the beauty of the setting, and the happiness glowing on every guest’s face.

His work didn’t just record the day — it reflected it. Every image carried the warmth, style, and spirit of the celebration, creating a visual story that felt both effortless and deeply personal.

Location & Cocktail Hour

The couple had always envisioned a countryside wedding — a place where nature, freedom, and celebration could flow effortlessly together. They were drawn to the open space, the tranquil beauty, and the chance to celebrate under the stars without limits. The venue offered exactly that: room to breathe, to dance, to set off fireworks, and to fully embrace the moment.

The cocktail hour took place at the same scenic setting, adding to the relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Guests mingled outdoors, enjoying the views and the golden hour light, as excitement quietly built for the celebration ahead.

Reception Decor & Planning

The couple entrusted Caramel Wedding with planning, and from the very first call, the team tuned into their energy and vision. What began as a minimalist concept quickly evolved. Ten days before the wedding, the couple and planners felt something was missing. That’s when the planners suggested a bold move: a complete aesthetic shift.

Originally centered around lilac and pale blue tones, the palette was reimagined to better reflect Dima and Varya’s personalities — warm, grounded, and full of heart. New sketches were revealed just days before the celebration, and the couple’s reaction said it all: “Wow.”

The magic continued indoors, where the hall was transformed with draped velvet in soft beige tones. Monochrome linens and chairs set a quiet, elegant backdrop, allowing the vivid autumnal florals to pop and steal the show. It was a daring change — and the perfect one.

Celebration

After the ceremony, the celebration transitioned into an evening of joy and connection, with fantastic food, live music, and an atmosphere that felt both elevated and effortless. The couple’s first dance was like something out of a film: intimate, emotional, and completely their own. For a moment, time seemed to pause.

As night fell, the energy only grew, with dancing under the stars, bursts of laughter, surprise fireworks, and an overwhelming sense of love in the air. It was the kind of celebration guests would remember for years.

Advice from the couple:

Trust the professionals — but leave space for spontaneity. The best moments are the ones you can’t plan for. Those are the ones that feel the most real — and the most memorable.
