Morgan and Andrew turned their love story into an intimate and art-inspired celebration in the heart of Tuscany. The wedding took place at Villa Dianella, in Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci.
Valentina Kera Events & Design Boutique, led by Valentina herself, was tasked with bringing Morgan and Andrew’s vision to life. Inspired by Botticelli’s painting The Birth of Venus, the theme of the wedding mirrored the couple’s “victory over hardships” and reflected their shared values of love and beauty.

Time of planning: 6 months
Number of guests: 50
Setting: Villa
Season: Fall
Morgan and Andrew are a deeply connected American-English couple from New York. She is a marketing manager, and he is a professional dancer, they met during a challenging time in their lives, and their love blossomed from a place of deep connection and mutual support. Their wedding planner, Valentina, said that she was absolutely astonished by this couple’s incredible yet really emotional and profound story: “These two amazing people literally saved each other throughout the hardest moments of their lives.” Their wedding wasn’t just a celebration of their love but a tribute to the strength they found in one another. Each detail of the day was infused with meaning, a reflection of their journey.
Location & Planning
Villa Dianella, a beautiful Tuscan resort surrounded by lush vineyards and olive groves, provided the perfect setting for this emotional celebration. The couple chose this historic location not only for its beauty but also for its symbolic connection to the Renaissance. “We were inspired by the Medici dynasty,” Valentina explained.
She and her team took Morgan and Andrew’s love for vintage style and merged it with a contemporary fine art approach. “It was crucial to prevent the grotesque effect,” Valentina noted, “so we decided to incorporate vintage highlights rather than a fully vintage aesthetic.” Handmade paper for the wedding stationery added a personal touch, while elegant underplates, gold-accented napkin holders, and sophisticated floral arrangements created a harmonious atmosphere. The entire day was designed to be a form of art, seamlessly blending vintage elements with modern sophistication.
Bridal Morning
Morgan prepared for her big day in a sunlit suite overlooking the Tuscan fields. Her bridal look was a nod to her love for vintage fashion, with every detail carefully curated to reflect her style. Her dress, a classic yet elegant design, was complemented by Badgley Mischka shoes, and she carried a bouquet of delicate roses and white blooms.
The highlight of her ensemble was a pair of heirloom tulle gloves, a precious accessory passed down from her grandmother, adding a sentimental touch to her wedding day attire. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo, and her makeup was kept minimal, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.
Groom's Fashion
Andrew chose a custom dark blue suit with a bow tie, exuding elegance and charm. The personalized details of his look included the wedding date embroidered on his collar, and an embroidered handkerchief that said, “From the moment we met… it was you!” It was a testament to his deep connection with Morgan, and these small but significant touches brought a personal and emotional element to his wedding day attire.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place in a private hall of Villa Dianella, which was opened exclusively for Morgan and Andrew. Instead of traditional floral arrangements, Valentina opted for minimalist decor, using candles to symbolize love and peace, drawing inspiration from the Medici family’s motto.
"Candles symbolize the warmth and flame of love, while white signifies true actions and wise choices."

The altar was created with tall cylindrical candles and vintage candleholders, casting a soft glow over the ceremony. The couple’s parents gave blessings, making the ceremony even more meaningful. As Valentina noted, “At this ceremony, everyone was sobbing!”
Private Moment
Following the ceremony, Morgan and Andrew took a quiet moment alone to soak in the beauty of their day. Their photographer, Elisa Rinaldi, captured these candid moments as the sun set behind the Tuscan hills. The couple’s love was palpable, and these intimate photos reflected the deep connection they shared. The timeless backdrop of the villa provided the perfect setting for these unforgettable moments.
"The love of this couple reigned in every corner and in every detail.”

Decor & Setting
The reception was a celebration of art and elegance, with carefully curated decor that reflected the Renaissance-inspired theme. Vintage underplates, gold candlesticks, and fine art floristry adorned the tables, creating an atmosphere of sophistication. The couple’s wedding menus were tied to accompany cards with a corduroy bow, adding a touch of class to the dining experience. The floral arrangements were a standout feature, with blush pink roses and white blooms creating a soft, romantic feel.
"Flowers became an environment, and this project and its design turned into a form of art in and of itself."

As the evening progressed, the highlight came when the couple took the floor for their first dance, moving gracefully together to the soft tunes playing in the background. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and celebration, making it a night to remember.
"The most important people in our couple's life were gathered around the table, which was harmoniously completed by the artwork and environs. These two components created the ideal Italian atmosphere."

Evening Elegance
As the evening progressed, the bride slipped into her second look—a chic, off-the-shoulder mini dress with delicate lace detailing. Paired with sheer vintage gloves and shimmering heels, the ensemble perfectly matched the elegant yet relaxed tone of the night.
The couple then took a private moment away from the festivities, stealing away to savor the intimacy of the day, capturing tender moments together. Their love and joy were evident as they basked in the quiet of the evening, creating memories they’ll cherish forever.
Evening Elegance
As the evening unfolded, a stunning champagne tower became a centerpiece of the celebration. The couple gleefully poured champagne into the cascading glasses, adding a touch of vintage glamour to the festivities. This elegant tradition set the tone for the next memorable moment—the cake cutting.
The striking blue wedding cake, a bold and unexpected choice, surprised and delighted the guests. The color, inspired by the couple’s love for vintage design, added a distinctive flair to the celebration. As they cut into the cake, surrounded by their loved ones, it was a moment filled with joy and laughter, marking the sweet conclusion of their unforgettable day.
