An Elegant Wedding by the Sea in the Heart of Northern Greece

Sand beneath their feet, pine-scented air, and the Aegean shimmering just steps away: the wedding of Antonis and Julia in Chalkidiki, Northern Greece, was a summer celebration that felt as effortless and luminous as the sea itself. The couple embraced a boho sea breeze aesthetic that was equal parts relaxed and refined, layered with sensory details that turned the evening into something truly immersive.

Every element of this unforgettable day was brought to life by Vicky Tzika of Organize That, the wedding planning agency whose vision and dedication made the couple feel completely at ease from the very first moment.

Location: Chalkidiki, Northern Greece
Style: Boho, Seafront, European
Time of planning: 1 year
Number of guests: 270
Setting: Historic Resort
Season: Summer

Antonis and Julia first knew each other as children, sharing the easy friendship that belongs to carefree years. Life moved on and the two lost touch entirely, until 2020 brought them back together through a mutual circle of friends. What followed was unmistakable, and this time, neither of them was willing to let go.

The proposal came in Paris. Antonis carried the ring with him every single day of the trip, keeping it carefully hidden as the days unfolded. On the final evening, as the Eiffel Tower lit up in its famed five-minute light show, he got down on one knee right there in front of everyone around them.

Morning & Fashion

Julia arrived at her wedding in a gown that stopped time. She chose a creation by the Spanish house Yolancris, a brand celebrated for its artisanal approach to bridal and evening wear, where every piece is crafted with meticulous attention to beauty and construction.

The dress was so unique and ethereal that she had never seen anything quite like it before, and it was precisely that singular quality that made it the perfect choice for a summer ceremony by the sea. Her shoes, by Cult Gaia, were elegant yet comfortable, the ideal finishing touch for a day that would stretch from the ceremony to dancing under the stars.

Antonis had a clear vision from the very beginning. He wanted a white blazer with black lapels, a look that was classic yet unmistakably his own. He found his answer in a suit by Breras Milano, an Italian brand that brings together traditional tailoring with contemporary cuts and exclusively artisanal craftsmanship, 100% Italian from design to production. Paired with shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo, the result was a look that complemented the overall style of the wedding with quiet confidence and enduring elegance.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place in a traditional Greek Orthodox church, set within a charming area open to visitors, lending an authentic and timeless character to the experience. The groom waiting at the altar, the joyful shower of rice as the couple stepped outside, and the tender blend of tears and laughter that moved through the gathered crowd of family and friends.

The couple chose a bohemian summer aesthetic because it felt true to both the setting and to who they are. Being so close to the sea made the concept feel naturally aligned with the surroundings, creating a sense of ease and authenticity that carried through every moment. The overall atmosphere was calm and harmonious, much like their own characters, expressing their vision in the most honest way possible.

Reception

Antonis and Julia shared their first dance to Sakis Rouvas’ “Υπέροχη ζωή,” a song that captures the essence of their relationship and the beautiful life they share together. It was a deeply personal choice for a deeply personal moment, and a fitting close to a day that was, from beginning to end, entirely and beautifully their own.

The music moved between worlds, blending international sounds with a live Greek band and a DJ, creating an energy that kept all 270 guests on the dance floor without pause. Two signature cocktails had been curated especially for the couple: The Stylish Bride, inspired by a Paloma, and The Happy Groom, a refined take on a Negroni.

For the cake, a stunning composition of meringue and choux cones was presented, and the moment became something entirely its own when the couple poured melted chocolate over the top together, turning the dessert into both a visual spectacle and an interactive celebration that delighted every person in the room.

Advice from the couple:

It only took a few minutes browsing Vicky’s profile and Organize That to know she was the perfect person to organize our wedding. She made us trust her from the very first moment. Her ideas were truly unique, and whenever a problem arose along the way, she found a solution immediately.

She took an enormous weight off our shoulders – the entire wedding planning process was surprisingly stress-free. And the result? It exceeded anything we could have ever imagined.
