Aileen and Dennis’ love story began at a friend’s event seven years ago and blossomed during a spontaneous trip to Vienna. This city would later set the stage for Dennis’ romantic proposal in front of the Sissi monument, echoing their first trip together. It was a dream come true, with a horse-drawn carriage ride and an emotional moment in the Vienna garden. The couple’s wedding was planned in a swift ten weeks, and it captured the lovebirds’ personality: modern, elegant, and intimate.

Their civil wedding took place in August in Wetzlar, with the celebration continuing in the neighboring city of Gießen. The summer sun added a perfect touch to their special day, which was attended by around 25 of their closest family and friends. The couple envisioned a small, intimate celebration, reflecting their love for a life filled with lightheartedness and joy.

The photography for Aileen and Dennis’ wedding was masterfully captured by Nargis Boumahdi, who is known professionally as Nagi Graphy. Her work is characterized by its modern elegance and emotive quality, perfectly complementing the stylish and intimate nature of this special day. Her photographs tell a story of love, joy, and the intimate connection between the couple, creating lasting memories that Aileen and Dennis will cherish forever.

Aileen wore a customized Millanova outfit featuring a feather bolero transformed into a sexy, transparent top paired with trousers by Sylwia Baumann Couture, which she purchased at Mara Madi Bridal. The top, designed by the bride, added a personal touch to the attire. Aileen completed her look with feather earrings, a sleek bun, and glowy natural makeup. Her fragrance from  Maison Francis Kurkdjian and jewelry by Otto Parr added the final touches to her stunning look.

Dennis matched Aileen’s elegance with a dark blue tailored suit, white shirt with cuffs, and a pocket square. He completed his look with a gypsophila boutonniere, harmonizing with Aileen’s bouquet of the same flowers and reflecting the wedding’s all-white theme.

The registry office ceremony was heartwarming and intimate, filled with joy and excitement. Aileen and Dennis were greeted by their closest family and friends with warm smiles and loving gazes as they entered the room. The couple’s excitement spread through the small gathering as they signed the official documents, making their union official.

After the heartfelt ceremony, the couple celebrated their newlywed status by popping a bottle of rosé. They toasted to their future together, savoring the crisp, refreshing taste of the chilled wine.

Soon after, they hopped into their sleek, top-down convertible to embrace the beautiful weather. They drove off to their reception, looking forward to celebrating with their closest family and friends at Knossos in Gießen.

The reception was held at their favorite restaurant, Knossos, known for its beautiful outdoor area and holiday atmosphere. The all-white decoration, conceptualized with simplicity and elegance in mind, included their favorite flowers: white hydrangeas and gypsophila. The highlight of the decor was a large white feather wall, perfectly complementing Aileen’s feather-themed outfit.

The dinner featured a surprise saxophone performance organized by the bride’s parents, adding a special touch as the musician played the couple’s favorite song. The evening was filled with dancing, emotional speeches, and a heartfelt father-daughter dance.

The lovebirds’ wedding day was beyond what they had dreamed of, filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments. Aileen and Dennis were eagerly looking forward to their next intimate celebration abroad, a beach wedding that would undoubtedly be as beautiful and meaningful as their civil wedding.

Advice from the couple:

Take it easy—less is more. Don’t plan everything. Enjoy it and let it come to you. It’s Your day, so make Your decisions as You want.
