Chloe and Ben’s love story is a classic tale of high school sweethearts. They first crossed paths in 2009 as wide-eyed 12-year-olds, with Chloe thinking that Ben is quiet and sweet, and Ben viewing Chloe as a kind but nerdy girl. Their friendship blossomed into romance after a school retreat, and in 2013, Ben took the bold step of asking Chloe to be his girlfriend. From then on, their journey from teenagers to adults was intertwined.

Known for their playful, goofy, yet honest and sincere relationship, Chloe and Ben always envisioned a wedding that would be smooth, fun-filled, and a true celebration for everyone involved.

Photographers Mitch and Tijana captured Chloe and Ben’s wedding beautifully. Looking through their photos, one can’t help but feel the true feelings and intimate moments shared throughout the day. What really impressed us was Mitch and Tijana’s talent for timing. They had an exceptional knack for capturing the perfect moments, creating images that not only tell a story but also evoke the heartfelt emotions of the day.

The wedding took place at Moana Hall in Perth, Western Australia. Initially considering wineries and garden party aesthetics, the vision of the perfect wedding began to take shape when they chose Moana Hall as their venue. The allure of its arched windows and classic style resonated with Chloe, aligning perfectly with the modern elegance and timeless charm of her chosen ball gown.

The wedding day began with a sense of excitement as Chloe got ready. The room was filled with soft morning light that made everything look gentle and calm. Chloe, looking elegant and ready, was smiling with happiness. Carefully, she put on her dress and shoes, the final steps before walking down the aisle.

In the company of friends, Ben was fine-tuning his attire. He looked dapper in his white jacket and black trousers, a timeless ensemble complete with a sleek black bow tie and shiny shoes. The outfit captured the day’s elegance, fitting for the moment he would see Chloe.

Chloe and Ben’s ceremony was a beautiful and straightforward affair, filled with light and love. The ballroom was simply adorned with white flowers, and candles lined the aisle, creating an intimate atmosphere. As they stood hand in hand in front of their closest family and friends, the room was filled with a sense of warmth and joy.

After the ceremony, Chloe and Ben shared a quiet moment away from the excitement. In the warm light of the setting sun, Chloe and Ben took a walk together. It was a chance to savor the joy of the day just between the two of them, before rejoining their loved ones to continue the festivities.

Chloe and Ben’s reception was in a theme of a classic White House dinner followed by an exclusive after-party. White flowers, including roses and baby’s breath, were arranged around the room and along the bar, creating a soft and inviting space. Candles added a warm, gentle glow to the setting. The wedding cake, simple and elegant, was topped with flowers that matched the bouquets and arrangements.

As the night progressed, the atmosphere was lively with music and dancing. Friends and family shared toasts and stories, filling the room with laughter and good cheer. To remember all warm words, the couple made an audio book, filled with messages from guests, promised to be a cherished keepsake of their wedding celebration.

The evening concluded with Chloe and Ben sharing one last dance in the empty venue, a private moment to end their special day.

Advice from the couple:

Invest in a Planner or On-the-Day Coordinator. Enlisting the expertise of a planner or on-the-day coordinator is invaluable. Our coordinator, Lauren Williams from Refine Events, was an absolute angel. She ensured the day unfolded seamlessly, allowing us to enter the celebration with complete peace of mind.

Prioritize an Exceptional Photographer and Videographer. The significance of capturing the day cannot be overstated. Mitch and Tijana, our chosen photographer and videographer, were truly brilliant. Opt for the longest package within your budget to capture as much of the day as possible. Time flies, and it’s impossible to absorb every moment amidst the excitement and nerves. The photos and videos we received bring us immense joy, forming a beautiful record of the day that is truly priceless.

•  Challenge Traditions That Don’t Resonate. Don’t feel obligated to adhere to traditions if they don’t align with your preferences. Chloe, for instance, realized that all she wanted was Ben’s opinion and reassurance about her dress, and so showed him a picture instead of conforming to conventional expectations that it was bad luck to show him before the wedding day. If traditions don’t resonate with you, feel empowered to customize your celebration according to what truly matters to you as a couple.
