Location: Palos Verdes, California, USA
Setting: Oceanfront Resort

Wedding season:
Summer
How long did the couple plan the event:
4 months
Number of guests: 300
Wedding theme/style:
Traditional, with elegance of 1980s.

Sivan and Tal’s love story could be straight out of a fairy tale. They grew up in the same neighborhood but only met for the first time in the summer of 2022 at a small restaurant. By chance, they bumped into each other four more times in the same month, as if it was meant to be.

Bianca Virtue did a remarkable job capturing the elegance and grace of the bride, along with the groom’s smiles and the guests’ joy. Her photos easily show the cheerful and light atmosphere of the day, showcasing the genuine happiness of everyone involved.

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, California, and it was a magical event. Despite only planning for four months, they managed to organize a beautiful celebration for 300 guests filled with happiness and love.

Sivan was breathtaking in her Alexandra gown by Monique Lhuillier, fitting the wedding’s classic theme perfectly. She wore a custom veil inscribed with the Hebrew phrase “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine,” highlighting their strong connection. And Tal chose a sleek black Tom Ford tuxedo.

Their first look took place under the bright California sun and the vast ocean behind them. Tal smiled warmly as he saw his bride in her beautiful wedding dress.

The ceremony was unforgettable. Sivan walked down the aisle, surrounded by 6,000 roses, to the sound of William Close playing “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey on his unique earth harp, which extended over 1,000 feet. Their wedding canopy, with the ocean in the background, was stunning, especially as the sunset added a beautiful glow to the setting.

The wedding’s design took inspiration from the elegance of the 1980s. Tables were decorated with candelabras and miniature baby’s breath trees, featuring a custom gray concrete look. The dance floor stood out with its silver and black checkerboard pattern, and a cloud of baby’s breath hung above, adding a whimsical touch.

They even had a funny moment when they had to change the floral arrangements for the reception at the last minute, a memory they now look back on with laughter and affection.

The day wrapped up on the dance floor with a DJ playing music through the night, and guests took part in the Jewish tradition of lifting the newlyweds on chairs, adding excitement and celebration to the memorable occasion.

Sivan and Tal’s wedding beautifully combined timeless style, personal details, and a bit of fun, showing their deep love and creating the wonderful memories of their special day.
