When Keegan started her PhD in Massachusetts and Matt took a job in San Francisco, they kept their love alive with coast-to-coast visits full of adventure: hiking, cycling, apple picking, comedy shows, and more.
Eventually, Matt moved to Boston to be with Keegan — just weeks before COVID. What was supposed to be a short visit turned into months of lockdown with her family, and by the end of it, Matt had truly become part of the home they were building. Terracotta vessels, fresh lemons, and hand-lettered ceramic table markers added warmth and personality, echoing a southern European aesthetic that was rustic, joyful, and inviting. Amber votives and woven rattan details completed the look, casting a golden glow as the evening unfolded.
