Location: Tuscany, Italy
Style: Warm, timeless, full of love and laughter
Time of planning: 1 year 8 months
Number of guests: 110
Setting: Villa
Season: Spring
Alyssandra is from California, and Joshua is from London. Though they grew up on opposite sides of the world, fate brought them together in San Francisco through work. In early 2020, when COVID hit and both cities went into lockdown, Joshua went to visit Alyssandra in Los Angeles. He packed a bag for the weekend — and ended up staying for eight months. From that point on, they were inseparable.
Joshua proposed on their favorite beach over oysters and wine — a simple, perfect moment that felt entirely them. They spent the weekend celebrating with their closest friends and family before deciding to tie the knot in Italy, a place that holds deep meaning for them both.
The Movie
RomaVera Films captured the weekend in the most effortless and cinematic way: from the energy of the welcome dinner to the final moments of the celebration. Every part tells the couple’s story with emotion and style, turning three unforgettable days into one timeless film. “They captured not just our love, but also the laughter, energy, and genuine connections with our closest friends and family. We honestly couldn’t have imagined anything better,” the couple shared.
"We absolutely loved working with Roma and Vera. Their approach was so organic and authentic that every time we watch their film, we’re instantly transported back to the happiest moments of our lives. They captured every smile, every glance, and every detail with such genuine care that it feels like we are reliving the day all over again.”

Pizza Party
The next day brought a relaxed pizza party, giving the soon-to-be newlyweds a chance to sneak away for some beautiful portraits and soak in the stunning scenery around them.
All of the events took place at Borgo Casabianca — the couple’s home for the weekend, where everyone instantly felt at ease.
Bride's Morning & Fashion
Alyssandra’s morning was filled with priceless emotions as she got ready surrounded by her loved ones. She wore a sleeveless, fitted gown by Lee Petra Grebenau, a piece that perfectly highlighted her beauty and elegance. Every detail from her radiant smile to the joy in the room reflected the excitement and love that defined the day.
While Alyssandra and Joshua decided to skip a first look before the ceremony, she shared a heartfelt moment with her bridesmaids instead. The space was filled with emotion as her bridesmaids saw her for the first time, their happy tears, laughter, and pure joy setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.
Groom's Fashion
Joshua’s morning was full of energy and vibrant moments. He wore a custom suit by Hall Madden, perfectly reflecting his style and the excitement of the day.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place outdoors near the villa, surrounded by the beauty of the Italian countryside. It was officiated by the bride’s brother-in-law, who had also become one of the groom’s closest friends – a meaningful touch that made the moment even more special. The couple wanted the ceremony to feel thoughtful, joyful, and overflowing with love, and that’s exactly how it was.
"We had our first look at the aisle, and we will never forget that moment. We also wrote our own vows and were so thankful to be able to share that moment with each other, in front of everyone we love so much.”

Reception
They had three speeches: from the groom’s father and each of their siblings. The words were a perfect blend of humor and heartfelt emotion, filling the evening with laughter, tears, and an overwhelming sense of love.
The celebration continued with a stunning first dance to “In Your Love” by Tyler Childers, a moment that felt truly magical, surrounded by everyone they love. Afterward, the couple cut into the sweetest cake, a charming touch that perfectly captured the joy and warmth of the evening.
The night came to a close with an unforgettable party, where everyone hit the dance floor and celebrated without holding back. The entire weekend was overflowing with love and warmth — a reflection of Alyssandra and Joshua’s connection and the people who mean the most to them. It was more than just a wedding: it was a full-on celebration of love, life, and everything beautiful about Tuscany.
"It was such a joy to spend the whole day together. Just the way we love it: nothing staged, full of laughs, a few tears from the sweet moments, too. And let’s be honest, these two are absolute stunners. How could we not enjoy every second?”
