Olivia and Ricardo, two free spirits wandering the world, met each other in California. Once they started dating, they both noticed they had a goal between traveling, experiencing, and seeing the most they could. Having each other and being together always was everything they wanted. Olivia is adventurous, brave, and always seeking more; Ricardo enjoys every little detail and experience and always takes care of her.
While traveling in Mexico, they found Oaxaca and fell in love. They knew that Oaxaca was everything they wished for and knew would be where their new journey would start.
Olivia’s attire was tender and feminine, perfectly reflecting her character. She chose a romantic straight-cut dress with a long train, and the highlight was a sheer polka-dot cape that added an airy and romantic touch to the entire look. The bride complemented her ensemble with classic shoes from the Lulus brand. The white shoes adorned with white bows and sparkling straps looked magnificent, completing the overall look.
The choice of venue was just as impeccable as their style. The hotel where they got ready was a lush oasis, filled with greenery and stunning architectural details, creating a captivating backdrop for the first look, a truly magical moment.
Ricardo, exuding a more neutral style, had one non-negotiable request: his iconic Ray-Ban sunglasses, a touch of his personality that added a subtle charm to the celebration.
Olivia and Ricardo’s wedding morning began with a touching moment as Ricardo saw Olivia for the first time in her bridal attire. His admiration and love were evident in every photograph. On this special day, the talented artist and detail-oriented photographer, Lety Altam, captured every moment of this beautiful wedding.
The wedding planning took six months, during which Olivia and Ricardo meticulously crafted an event that mirrored their personalities and aspirations. The theme they chose was a fusion of springtime joy and chic minimalism, evident in the stylish and colorful arrangements that adorned the venue.
Lety Altam created beautiful portraits that captured the emotions and love of the stunning and enamored couple.
The highlight of the day was the surprise Calenda that Ricardo arranged for Olivia. As they stepped outside the hotel, the music began, and the vibrant procession started, marking the beginning of their wedding celebration. With mezcal in hand, the couple danced joyously, surrounded by the lively energy of the Calenda.
After the vibrant and lively Calenda, the couple decided to spend some intimate moments together, sharing their emotions from the vibrant celebration. They engaged in conversation, savored cocktails, and enjoyed each other’s company — it was a beautiful moment of connection.
The couple then took a moment to revel in the beauty of the reception venue. From the carefully curated decor to the picturesque surroundings, they absorbed every detail, creating timeless memories captured beautifully by the talented photographer, Lety Altam.
The evening was filled with music and dancing. Ricardo and Olivia tried their hand at being DJs, playing their favorite tunes, dancing, and creating an incredibly beautiful evening.
