Like many modern couples, Hannah and Harry met online but could not meet for some time because of the pandemic, which put many a love story on hold. The minute the restrictions were lifted, they hopped on a train and met at Waterloo Station.

Railways have always been linked to romance, either in fiction or the real world. All life is there. Lovers meeting with breathless anticipation or departing, holding each other’s gaze until the train moves off. Their greeting was not so romantic; having met online, it had crossed Harry’s mind that Hannah might turn out to be a middle-aged man named Clive, and he shouted out Clive across the station. But then he saw her, and she was real. And that’s when the magic unfolded. The mutual attraction was instant.

Harry orchestrated a picturesque moment during a boat picnic in Corfu for the proposal. The intimate setting and surprise set the stage for the next chapter of their love story, cementing their commitment to their shared future.

“I give you this ring as a sign of our love and commitment to each other. I promise to support you, care for you and laugh with you, now and always”.

For the wedding day, Hannah and Harry chose the enchanting Brympton House, a country house estate nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Somerset, England. This idyllic location, with its historic charm and sprawling grounds, provided a timeless backdrop despite the unexpected summer rain. The couple meticulously planned their special day over ten months, infusing it with a classic theme that blended soft modern and traditional styles seamlessly. For the feeling of the day, the lovebirds just wanted it to feel relaxed and full of love, how they like to see life.

On a rainy English morning, Hannah was getting ready for her big day, accompanied by her mother and bridesmaids. With her hair expertly styled by Gabby Gakool and makeup applied by the talented Stephanie Graham, the bride’s radiance intensified. Then she slipped into her stunning elegant dress by Rebecca Schoneveld; every detail spoke to the harmony of modern simplicity and traditional charm.

Harry felt a sense of warmth and calmness around those who had shared his journey. The photos captured during the groom’s preparation added style and cherished memories to the collection.

A heartfelt moment unfolded as Gabriella’s father glimpsed her in her wedding dress for the first time. Joy illuminated his face, tinged with a touch of nostalgia. Proudly, he escorted her to the altar for the ceremony, encapsulating a blend of love and the passage of time.

Harry was visibly impressed when he first saw Hannah in her wedding look at the ceremony. She was incredibly gorgeous in this bridal outfit, leaving him in awe. A unique touch highlighted the aisle walk—a string quartet seamlessly transitioned from the traditional “Here Comes the Bride” to ABBA’s “Dancing Queen,” surprising everyone with the unexpected shift. But the bride was a genuine queen! The ceremony held more surprises with readings chosen by the couple for each other, creating natural moments of connection without the pressure of writing their own vows.

Photographer Nina Wernicke is fantastic—her work is very stylish and beautifully captures the essence of moments. She excels in flawlessly executed portraits and captures subtle dialogues between couples with a keen eye. Steadfast support, a profound connection, and meticulous attention to detail mark her approach. Her clear, natural colors perfectly encapsulate English weddings’ timeless charm and distinctive, noble aesthetic.

The reception space was accentuated by exquisite floral arrangements, with a standout being the floral frame created by Flourish and Grace. Initially gracing the front of the ceremony in the Castle House, this enchanting creation seamlessly transitioned to the reception in the Ballroom, framing the top table. The flowers became a visual thread, weaving through both spaces, adding a touch of natural elegance to the entire celebration.

As the couple entered, guests welcomed them with joyful cheers and congratulations. This vibrant and emotional moment immediately set the tone for the entire evening, creating an atmosphere of celebration and excitement.

The wedding featured a stunning three-tiered white cake by The Silver Cake adorned with live rosebuds.

Later, as the evening unfolded, the couple’s first dance became a poignant highlight. Against the backdrop of harmonious melodies, they swayed gracefully, marking the beginning of their shared journey with a seamless blend of elegance and emotion. The dance, framed by the enchantment of the day, resonated as a symbol of unity and romance, creating a lasting memory for all in attendance.

An exceptional band took charge of the evening festivities, ensuring a full dancefloor throughout. Unbeknownst to the couple, the presence of evening food went unnoticed, consumed by the captivating rhythm of the dancefloor. The bride maintained a continuous presence on the dancefloor, uninterrupted for five hours. The evening celebration emerged as the pinnacle of an already extraordinary day, leaving a lasting impression on those in attendance, who continue to discuss its memorable moments.

Advice from the couple:

Plan as much as you can as early as you can to have the month(s) leading up to the wedding full of fun and excitement only.

Try and savor every moment! The day goes by in a flash. It’s an absolute whirlwind.

Get a great photographer! So you have the best photo memories if the bits you initially forget in the blur of the day!
