Nevada and Evan’s love story began over 10 years ago when they first met at a college bar while attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Though they dated for only a few months, life had other plans, and they had to go their separate ways. In 2021, they met again, and their connection sparked even brighter than before.
Evan planned the perfect intimate proposal. One evening, Nevada arrived home from work to find rose petals scattered throughout their home. As she turned the corner, she saw Evan surrounded by candlelight, down on one knee, ready to ask the most important question of their lives.
Bride's Look
Nevada opted for a stunning white gown by Martina Liana from The White Magnolia Bridal store. The strapless sweetheart neckline and the structured bodice with intricate lace detailing created a romantic breezy silhouette. The sheer, off-the-shoulder long sleeves added a soft and ethereal touch, blending with the floral lace of the voluminous skirt. The long, flowing veil featured embroidered initials of Nevada and Evan, adding a heartfelt and personal detail to the ensemble.
For the shoes, the bride chose elegant, open-toe heels with a metallic silver finish by Badgley Mischka. The oversized crystal buckle on the front was a bold, luxurious detail. To finish off her look, Nevada chose gold earrings from Revolve with intricate pearl and crystal details, which exuded a vintage, timeless charm.
Plush Beauty kept Nevada’s makeup natural, highlighting her features with glowing, warm tones. The sleek low-bun allowed the bride’s radiant smile to shine, creating a perfect mix of elegance and contemporary romance.
Finally, the elegant white orchids and hanging amaranthus bouquet by Le Stem Floral perfectly matched the bridal ensemble, mirroring the charming aesthetic. “Being in her wedding dress with her hair and makeup done for the first time felt so surreal. A moment Nevada had been waiting for her whole life. She was so excited and truly felt so beautiful”, Gabriella Marie from Ella Events by GM recalls.
Groom's Morning & Fashion
The groom’s look had that effortlessly cool, modern charm. He wore a tailored, warm-toned brown suit from Express that perfectly complemented the lush green outdoor setting. A bright, patterned pocket square was tucked neatly into his pocket, adding a pop of color and personality. He wore a sleek gold watch and round Ray Ban aviator sunglasses for the accessories. The overall look blended elegance with a laid-back charm.
Before getting dressed for his special day, Evan took a quiet moment to write a heartfelt note for Nevada. As he reread his sincere words, a joyful smile appeared on his face, reflecting his anticipation for the moments ahead.
First Look
The couple’s first look was filled with raw emotion and joy. Evan couldn’t hold back his tears as he embraced Nevada tightly. As Nevada gracefully walked down the curved staircase, she looked like a true fairy-tale princess. All eyes were on her, with guests eagerly awaiting the start of the ceremony.
Together with Ella Events by GM Nevada envisioned an intimate and uniquely personal ceremony. The planner thoughtfully designed a layout, featuring organic seating and standing arrangements, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. The couple exchanged vows in front of a breathtaking fireplace adorned with cascading white orchids, delicate baby’s breath, dried palm leaves, and terracotta flowers.
The heartfelt ceremony ended with a cinematic kiss, met with applause from the friends and family members. Set against the intricate floral backdrop, this unforgettable scene marked the beginning of Nevada and Evan’s new chapter as husband and wife.
Reception
The reception was set outdoors, surrounded by palm trees and lush greenery, creating an inviting atmosphere. The decor complemented this setting with soft candlelight and organic elements, including cut-up fruits. Neutral-toned linens paired with dark wooden chairs served as a striking contrast against the light stone flooring and green backdrop. A mix of dinner and cocktail tables reflected the couple’s vision of a relaxed and open reception space, encouraging guests to move freely, explore the venue, and engage with one another.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres and a tapas-style menu by Dade County, while sitting beneath twinkling fairy lights. For the drinks, everyone enjoyed chilled champagne, elegantly served from a stunning celebratory tower. Lively conversations filled the air as everyone talked about the beautiful ceremony and raised their glasses in heartfelt toasts to the newlyweds.
As the night unfolded, Nevada removed her lace sleeves and veil, exchanging them for elegant long gloves, suited for the evening’s lively celebration. When the couple took the floor for their first dance, the space became silent, captivated by the moment. With cheerful smiles, they swayed to the music, celebrating the beginning of their new chapter as husband and wife.
Another heartfelt moment followed as the couple took the dance floor with their beloved parents. Rather than having separate dances, Nevada and Evan chose to stay together, sharing the experience as one. This beautiful gesture became yet another cherished memory.
