Andrea and Tommy, from Singapore, first met through their shared love of golf, and since then they’ve spent countless days exploring new courses and traveling the world together. “Golf has brought us to so many incredible places,” they say, “but more importantly, it brought us to each other.” In December 2025, Tommy proposed under the Northern Lights in Norway, an unforgettable moment that marked the beginning of their next chapter.
Location: Lake Como, Italy
Number of guests: 2
Setting: Villa del Balbianello
Since then, they’ve been dreaming of a timeless pre-wedding photoshoot that reflects their love of travel and beautiful destinations. Lake Como has always been one of those dream locations, and with the help of planner Viviana Verzi Reatti, they brought the vision to life.
Planning & Inspiration
The couple began planning the shoot back in January with a clear vision: something timeless and classic. “We also wanted more than just beautiful photos,” they say. “We wanted the experience itself to be memorable.” Their pre-wedding shoot was inspired by the timeless beauty of Italy, and in the early stages they were torn between two visions: a vintage car winding through the rolling hills of Tuscany, or a romantic lakeside shoot on Lake Como.
Their photographer, Fabio of Marciano Studio, shared different concepts and locations to help them picture how each setting would come to life. As they explored the options, Lake Como kept pulling them in. Cruising across the lake by boat, visiting Villa del Balbianello, famous for its appearance in the James Bond films, and letting the lake itself become the focal point of the photographs felt like a true reflection of the atmosphere they wanted to create. In the end, it wasn’t just about choosing a beautiful location. “It was about finding a setting that truly resonated with us,” they say.
Fashion
Andrea’s vision was always something timeless: simple, elegant, and effortlessly classic. She wore a Vivienne Westwood gown from Truly Enamoured in Singapore, chosen for its iconic silhouette and understated sophistication. Soft, refined hair and makeup by Mary Rush completed the look, one that felt modern and enduring at once.
For Tommy, the choice came naturally. A long-time admirer of BOSS, he had his suit custom-made by the brand in a neutral sand-colored fabric, believing its warm, understated tone would suit the natural palette of Lake Como while keeping the look refined and timeless.
The Most Memorable Part Of The Pre-Wedding Shoot
“Without a doubt, the most memorable part of our pre-wedding shoot was the people we met along the way,” Andrea and Tommy say. “From the very beginning, our photographer, Fabio, and our coordinator, Viviana, made us feel completely at ease.” What started as a professional collaboration quickly became a genuine friendship.
It was the whole experience, so well planned, that made the trip special: wandering through beautiful villas, taking in the charm of Lake Como, and sharing countless conversations and laughs along the way. “Those moments are just as meaningful to us as the images we brought home,” they say, “and they’ll remain memories we will cherish for years to come.”
