Salome and Marc’s love story began when they first met on Tinder eight years ago. They spent the next three and a half years together in Dublin, building their careers in tech and creating a life together. When the pandemic hit, they moved back to Zurich, but after five years, they returned to Dublin to visit friends. During this trip, Marc surprised Salome with a proposal in a beautifully romantic hotel, marking the beginning of their next chapter.
The Vision & Planning
From the start, Salome and Marc imagined a relaxed and intimate wedding weekend designed to bring their closest friends and family together for 2-3 unforgettable days. Salome had always dreamed of a summer garden wedding at a charming Italian villa filled with vibrant, colorful flowers. Their goal was to create an atmosphere that was both elegant and laid-back.
The celebrations started on Thursday with a dinner for their parents, followed by casual drinks with the rest of the wedding party at a local bar. On Friday, they arranged a scenic outing on a classic sailing boat for 40 guests who had arrived early, giving everyone a chance to soak in the beauty of Lake Garda with a welcoming dinner on the lakeside terrace of the hotel.
The talented team at Scelta Di Classe expertly planned the entire wedding and thoughtfully handled every detail of the weekend. Their attention to every aspect allowed Marc and Salome to fully relax and enjoy the celebration of their love, all while taking in the breathtaking views of Lake Garda.
Bride's Morning & Fashion
On Saturday afternoon Salome was joined by her bridesmaids, mother, and grandmother to begin preparations with their stylist. Her wedding look was elegant and breathtaking. She wore a stunning Galia Lahav dress paired with classic Jimmy Choo shoes.
Her makeup, done by Marta Mizzotti, featured bold eyes with golden and brown tones, while her hair was styled into a timeless, elegant low bun. The finishing touch was a beautiful bouquet crafted by L’isola di Flores, completing her flawless bridal look.
After getting ready, Salome’s father arrived to pick her up in a stunning Riva boat, adding a touch of elegance to the day. The boat gracefully glided across the picturesque waters of Lake Garda, taking them to the wedding venue in style.

Marc’s wedding look was effortlessly stylish. He chose a lightweight, dark blue suit by Suitsupply—elegant yet laid-back, perfect for a summer celebration. His Tod’s loafers added a touch of sophistication, while a boutonniere completed the look with a natural charm.
Ceremony
The outdoor ceremony was magical, overlooking the stunning Lake Garda and surrounded by the villa’s natural beauty. Salome and Marc chose a modern, personalized ceremony officiated by Marc’s best man. “Since we aren’t religious, we wanted the ceremony to reflect our personalities and connection,” they shared. One of the most meaningful moments for Salome was walking down the aisle with her father to Marc, a deeply emotional memory she will always cherish.

Reception
The reception took place in the villa’s beautiful garden, where the pastel theme continued with soft floral arrangements, fruits, and candles that adorned each table. A live band set the tone for the day, followed by a DJ who kept the energy high as the night unfolded. For their first dance, the newlyweds chose the timeless “Moon River” by Andy Williams, a magical moment under the stars.
Dessert was equally special—Salome and Marc had the joy of preparing a mille-feuille with chocolate filling together with the chef, making it an experience they would never forget.
As the evening went on, the reception transformed into a lively celebration with toasts, games, cake cutting, and bouquet tossing, wrapping up the wedding weekend with joy, laughter, and love. One of the night’s most touching moments came when Marc surprised Salome with a song he had written and recorded during his bachelor trip to Mallorca, a deeply personal tribute to their relationship. The heartfelt speeches from their loved ones made the day even more unforgettable.
