Deborah, a talented Marketing Specialist with a passion for creativity, and Aaron, a dynamic Business Owner holding the title of VP of Sales, met in the vibrant season of spring in 2018. Their connection, ignited by shared interests and ambitions, was destined to become extraordinary. What started as a professional association soon blossomed into a deep and meaningful connection. Their shared love for life, laughter, and fine dining forged a bond neither could ignore.
In the summer of 2020, Aaron decided to take their love to the next level by proposing to Deborah. With a heart whole of love and a stunning engagement ring in hand, he popped the question, and Deborah, without a moment’s hesitation, said yes. Their engagement was a magical moment that sealed their commitment to a lifetime of happiness and shared dreams.
But, like many couples worldwide, they faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led them to postpone their wedding plans. Yet, their unwavering love and patience saw them through these trying times, and they never lost sight of their dream wedding.
When it comes to setting the tone for your special day, nothing quite matches the charm and beauty of exquisite invitations. Deborah, a bride with a taste for classic sophistication, found inspiration in the glamour of Old Hollywood for her wedding day. Her chosen style marries the vintage charm of a bygone era with a modern touch of elegance, and at its heart are details adorned with pearls.
For her makeup and hairstyles, the bride turned to the skilled hands of Allyssa Helm and Dana Sondak, artists known for their expertise in creating soft, natural looks. It was paramount to the bride that she appeared as herself on this momentous day. Allyssa worked her magic, bestowing Deborah with a soft, glowing complexion that accentuated her features while maintaining her natural beauty. The result was a radiant bride, confident in her own skin. The nod to Old Hollywood glamour, she wore her hair down in cascading waves that harked back to the iconic styles of the silver screen. A handmade ivory and pearl headpiece adorned her hair, adding a touch of vintage charm and complementing her overall bridal look.
For the ceremony, Deborah chose a gown that epitomized simplicity and timelessness. Crafted from delicate silk, it showcased clean lines and a refined silhouette. The fabric choice allowed her to exude an air of classic elegance as she walked down the aisle. Complementing this gown was a chapel-length tulle veil adorned with pearls, adding a touch of vintage charm to her look. Handmade pearl block heels completed her ensemble, ensuring every step she took was graceful and beautiful.
In perfect harmony with the bride’s timeless elegance, the bridesmaids made a striking statement in their mismatched sequined gowns. The warm and muted metal tones they wore – including rose gold, peach, champagne, and yellow gold – added a touch of glamour and sophistication to the wedding party.
The groom, on this remarkable day, was the epitome of refined elegance in his custom ivory tuxedo. This distinctive choice not only set him apart but also perfectly complemented the bride’s timeless bridal style.
Before the ceremony, a quiet, intimate moment would forever be etched in the hearts of Deborah and Aaron – their first look. A moment of anticipation, emotion, and pure love set the tone for their special day.
Deborah, radiant in her timeless bridal attire, stood in anticipation. The delicate lace, the shimmer of pearls, and the graceful silhouette all spoke to the elegance she embodied. Her heart raced as she awaited the first glimpse of her soon-to-be-husband. Aaron, equally eager and full of anticipation, awaited this moment with bated breath. As he turned to see Deborah, the love and admiration in his eyes were palpable.
A wedding planner plays a pivotal role in bringing dreams to life. Deborah and Aaron were fortunate to have the exceptional talent of Planner Lexington and Co. by their side. Her creativity, attention to detail, and vision transformed their wedding into a timeless masterpiece that amazed everyone.
Working in harmony with planner, the florist Fuscia Designs played an essential role in creating an atmosphere of elegance. Their floral artistry was a true masterpiece, particularly in the floating chuppah of dried florals and smokebush. It added a level of sophistication and charm to the wedding that was nothing short of extraordinary.
Behind the lens of Deborah and Aaron’s wedding, capturing the most cherished moments and the intricate details, was the incredibly talented photographer, Liza Litvinovich. With her camera as a storytelling tool, Liza narrated the love story of Deborah and Aaron. Her images conveyed the depth of their connection and the enchantment of their wedding, capturing moments that will be cherished for generations to come. Her elegant black-and-white photos leave everyone in awe. Her ability to blend professionalism with a genuine love for her work ensured no moment was left uncaptured.
The couple’s wedding was a fusion of old classic Hollywood and modern vintage design. Their celebration featured dim, warm candlelight, rose gold brassy utensils, and mismatched handcrafted ceramics, all creating an atmosphere of nostalgic charm. The classic and timeless stationery, inspired by vintage prescription pads on mist cardstock, added an elegant touch, making their wedding an unforgettable blend of past and present.
Deborah and Aaron’s wedding was a beautiful fusion of Jewish and Irish traditions. Their ceremony included the symbolism of the chuppah, the breaking of the glass, and the spirited hora while intertwining traditional Irish blessings and a handfasting ceremony. This unique blend of customs celebrated their diverse heritage and created a heartfelt and memorable union. Also, they had a second celebration in Ireland for the bride’s family and friends. The wedding was held at the stunning, award-winning 19th-century Carriage Rooms in Montalto Estate.
The couple’s primary wedding wish was to throw a grand celebration, bringing together friends and family, both local and out of town, who had endured two years of COVID-related restrictions and distancing. They also aspired to provide delicious food and hire a sizable band, complete with brass instruments, to deliver live music spanning the decades and get everyone dancing. In the end, all their dreams came true in a beautiful way.
Advice from the couple:
• When the day arrives, let go of all the little things. The day will go by quickly, and not everything will work out, so you certainly don’t want to waste the day worrying about things you can no longer change. It’s meant to be a day to truly celebrate your love and commitment to one another – nothing else really matters. Laugh at things gone wrong because laughter is contagious, and your guests will laugh with you.
- You will not regret splurging on videography and photography. These two vendors, in particular, are responsible for capturing your special day so you can continue to relive your favorite moments, especially those with loved ones who have grown old or passed on.
- Choose your wedding planner wisely. Interview many before deciding because sometimes the best in the business isn’t always the best for you. It’s an emotional day, and you want to feel the same unconditional love you felt throughout the intimate planning process on the day itself because that is when you need the most support. Surround yourself with a good, honest, professional team because positive energy and respect on your special day mean the world.
