Nicki grew up in Santa Barbara, California, while Sean lived in Eugene, Oregon. Sean is the son of the renowned Oregon Ducks football coach, Mike Bellotti. They met in college at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks in the old cafeteria. Sean noticed Nicki’s Ducks keychain, a rare sight in California, and asked if she was from Oregon. It immediately sparked a great conversation. They were friends for a few years before starting to date on New Year’s Eve in Bend.
After 6.5 years of dating, Sean proposed on the third hole at Tetherow Resort, surprising Nicki with family and friends there to celebrate. It was a perfect and romantic moment.
Bend, Oregon, holds a special place in Sean and Nicki’s hearts, and they wanted to share its beauty with their guests. Both are active and love the outdoors, making Bend the perfect location for their wedding. When it came to video, they wanted a natural-looking film, something that feels real, authentic, and has a deep connection. The videographers at Blue Pine Films captured the entire day, from the heartwarming ceremony and vows to the first look with both the groom and Nicki’s father. They documented the picturesque golden hour and the fun night of dancing, creating a memorable keepsake for the couple.
Nicki’s wedding morning was full of excitement and love. The picturesque outdoor scenery added to the overall calm and anticipation of the moment. Nicki wore a minimalist and elegant wedding dress with a long train complemented by the stunning jewelry of her grandmother. Her hair was styled in loose waves, and her makeup was natural and radiant. The bridesmaids, dressed in matching champagne-colored dresses, reacted joyfully as they saw Nicki’s wedding look for the first time.
Sean was calm and composed as he prepares for the big day, ensuring every detail of his wedding attire was perfect.
The first look between Nicki and her father was a deeply emotional moment. As Nicki approached her father, she could see the pride and love in his eyes. It was a touching and memorable start to Nicki’s wedding day.
Sean and Nicki’s ceremony was beautifully set in an open area surrounded by nature. The backdrop featured a geometric wooden arch adorned with vibrant floral arrangements in orange, yellow, and white shades, perfectly complementing the natural surroundings. Rows of black chairs were lined up neatly for the guests, with additional floral accents on the aisle, adding a touch of elegance.
The ceremony was intimate, with the couple standing under the floral arch, exchanging vows. During the ceremony, the officiant guided the couple through their vows, and there were moments of laughter and joy. As they walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, their faces radiated happiness and love, with guests cheering and applauding their union.
Nicki added, “Our wedding venue was named after our family as a famous landmark was destroyed upon which the venue was built. They named it after our family to honor them. Getting married at Tetherow Resort as a Tetherow (my last name) and being able to say goodbye to that as my last name and then becoming a Bellotti is all pretty cool!”
The reception space and cocktail hour at Sean and Nicki’s wedding were beautifully arranged. The welcome sign featured a floral arrangement with various colorful flowers, setting a warm and inviting tone. The reception tent was adorned with elegant decor, including round tables covered in white tablecloths and decorated with vibrant floral centerpieces in orange, yellow, and white shades. The cocktail hour took place outdoors, with guests mingling under white umbrellas and enjoying the scenic views of the golf course and surrounding landscape. This carefully curated setup with thoughtful decorations and the scenic outdoor setting made the reception space and cocktail hour truly memorable and picturesque.
Nicki and Sean’s reception was lively and joyful. The atmosphere was festive, with the couple enjoying drinks together at the bar surrounded by friends and family. The dance floor was energetic, highlighted by an impressive fireworks display as Sean dipped Nicki for a romantic kiss.
The reception also featured a large illuminated sign with “The Bellottis,” providing a great backdrop for photos. The overall atmosphere was one of celebration and joy, with lots of laughter, dancing, and heartfelt moments shared by all.
