Jeane and Derian, a couple whose love story unfolded during the challenges of a global pandemic. Introduced to each other by a mutual friend, they first crossed paths in South Korea where Jeane worked at that moment. What followed was a remarkable journey of love, resilience, and the triumph of their relationship against all odds.

Navigating through the uncertainties of the pandemic, Jeane and Derian experienced the ‘new normals’ of life – from lockdowns and social distancing to quarantines. Despite the hurdles, their relationship not only survived but thrived. The challenges they faced taught them to cherish every moment spent together. After enduring a long-distance relationship for over three years, Jeane and Derian joyfully tied the knot in 2023.

Sancii, the photographer capturing Jeane and Derian’s wedding, has crafted truly enchanting photos. Portraits of the couple, moments from the ceremony and dinner – each photograph is a masterpiece, skillfully reflecting the couple’s emotions, beauty, and the guests’ sentiments, immersing the viewer in that winter, magical wedding.

Attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the wedding. The wedding stationery mirrored the elegance of the overall wedding style. Soft shades of blue and gray accentuated the classic wedding theme, while the chosen calligraphic font added a touch of sophistication. These charming details created a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

One of the unique aspects of Jeane and Derian’s wedding was Jeane’s decision to do the makeup and hair by herself, adding a personal touch to her bridal look. Surprisingly invested in the details, Derian played a significant role in choosing Jeane’s classic and timeless wedding dress. Despite initial differences in preferences, they found common ground, and Jeane walked down the aisle in a dress that perfectly complemented her petite figure.

The bridesmaids donned diverse dress styles at Jeane and Derian’s wedding, each highlighting their individuality. However, they maintained a cohesive and elegant theme by sticking to a shared color palette of soft beige. This choice emphasized unity while allowing for personal expression. The bridesmaids’ coordinated ensembles added a touch of sophistication to the wedding, symbolizing both refined taste and the bride’s thoughtful consideration for her close friends.

Derian looked incredibly elegant in his wedding attire. The groom chose a classic black suit for the wedding, complemented by a bow tie and a boutonniere matching the bride’s bouquet. The groom’s friends also dressed in matching classic suits, creating a cohesive ensemble with the groom.

As the ceremony commenced, Jeane walked down the aisle accompanied by her father, who led her to the spot where her beloved awaited. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments, from the vows exchanged by the couple to the ring ceremony. Each moment touched the hearts of everyone present. Following the ceremony, guests congratulated the newlyweds, showering them with white rose petals.

Choosing the enchanting city of Seattle as their wedding location, Jeane and Derian opted for a small and intimate celebration with close friends and family. The venue, a stunning glasshouse attached to a winery in the heart of Seattle, provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic winter wedding.

Inspired by Tuscan wedding vibes, Jeane envisioned a celebration adorned with lush greenery, simplicity, and sophistication.

Jeane and Derian’s families flew in from Canada and Indonesia, making the celebration even more special. The reception featured heartfelt speeches from close friends, fostering a relaxed environment filled with good conversations over a delicious dinner.

Jeane and Derian’s wedding was devoid of extravagant events and unnecessary frills. They didn’t plan a first dance, but their friends convinced them to take the dance floor, adding an unexpected and fun twist to the celebration.

Advice from the couple:

•  It’s important to remember that the event is about you and your partner. Don’t get too consumed on trying to make the day ‘perfect’ but focus on celebrating your love because your wedding day is a once in a lifetime event.
