Their journey began in 2018, when Anastasia, a Ukrainian with Greek roots, met Nikos, a native Greek, while working together. From casual breakfasts to museum visits and gym sessions, their bond grew into something extraordinary. The couple had always felt that their love transcended traditional notions of marriage. However, after four years together, they decided that a wedding was a beautiful way to honor their commitment.
The proposal, as simple and heartfelt as their love, took place at one of their favorite hotels in the serene Greek mountains. Nikos, holding the ring in his palm, simply asked Anastasia to become his wife after a cozy dinner. The intimate moment ended with a bottle of champagne by the fireplace, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their journey.
"It might sound cliché, but as our connection deepened and evolved into a romantic relationship, it just felt right."

Bridal Morning
Anastasia’s bridal preparations took place in the luxurious Andaz Hotel Prague, where she embraced the calm of the morning before the ceremony. Her wedding dress, designed by Ukrainian designer Tanya Rino, was a masterpiece of simplicity and elegance. The soft cream silk gown shimmered beautifully in the sunlight, featuring an open back and a long, flowing train that added a graceful touch. Complementing her look were Jimmy Choo shoes and loose, natural curls, styled by Anastasia Landtwing, completing the effortless yet chic bridal aesthetic. Her bouquet, arranged by Anastasia Korneeva, featured romantic hues of blush, peach, and cream roses, hydrangeas, and orchids, perfectly reflecting the soft tones of Prague’s summer landscape.
Groom's Fashion
Meanwhile, Nikos embraced a relaxed yet sophisticated look, opting for a classic black suit without a tie or boutonnière, reflecting his personal style. His minimalistic approach complemented the day’s understated elegance, a choice that suited the modern glam theme of the wedding.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the historic Vrtba Garden, a hidden gem in the heart of Prague known for its baroque beauty. This intimate outdoor setting was decorated with soft floral arrangements in shades of peach and cream, adding a soft, romantic touch to the space.
Beneath frescoes depicting the story of Venus and Adonis, the ceremony space became a stunning backdrop for Anastasia and Nikos’ vows. And a gentle sounds of a garden’s fountain and birds singing created a serene atmosphere.
"When I arrived at the ceremony venue and saw the flowers, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow! Oh my god!" The beauty of the arrangements was beyond anything I had imagined."
Anastasia, the bride
As guests gathered, the soothing melody of a live cello played, filling the air with a serene and classical touch. Anastasia walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” radiating a calmness and joy. The ceremony was deeply emotional, yet relaxed, with the couple feeling completely at ease. Anastasia recalled that sharing their promises and feelings in that setting was incredibly profound and unforgettable.
Private Moment
After the heartfelt ceremony, the couple enjoyed a quiet moment alone, strolling hand-in-hand through the lush garden. Photographer Marie from Artedimarie beautifully captured these moments, blending the natural beauty of the setting with the couple’s joy. The intimate photographs reflected the serenity and elegance of the day, perfectly preserving the emotions shared between Anastasia and Nikos.
"We were just filled with joy and gratitude, fully immersed in the beautiful moment we had created together."

The tables were adorned with elegant peach and blush florals, echoing the ceremony arraingements. The stationery, designed by Aleksandra, complemented the sophisticated color palette, while candlelight added a romantic glow to the evening.

Reception
Before dinner, guests enjoyed the couple’s signature cocktails: Anastasia’s refreshing “Apricot in the Dot” and Nikos’ classic “Negroni,” all while taking in the breathtaking views of Prague Castle and the Vltava River. The rooftop reception created a warm and inviting atmosphere as the sun set, casting a golden light over the city and setting the tone for the evening ahead.
The couple made a memorable entrance to the lively Greek song “Valto Terma,” a nod to Nikos’ cultural roots. The upbeat energy of the music, combined with lyrics that spoke to their love, had everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating alongside the newlyweds.
As dinner began, guests were treated to a multi-course meal, with heartfelt toasts from family and friends. The soft glow of candlelight filled the space, adding a romantic touch to the intimate setting.
Later in the evening, Anastasia and Nikos shared their first dance as husband and wife to Calum Scott’s “Biblical.” It was a deeply emotional moment, the song’s meaningful lyrics resonating with the couple’s journey and the love they have over the years.
End of the Day
As the night settled over Prague, Anastasia and Nikos embraced the final moments of their wedding day in a more intimate and relaxed setting. They shared a quiet walk through the hotel halls, reflecting on the day’s emotions and the joy they experienced together.
The night concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, where they fed each other slices of their vintage-inspired cake adorned with fresh raspberries by Khromberry. It was a sweet and playful moment, a perfect end to the day’s celebrations, filled with lighthearted laughter and cherished memories.
Advice from the couple:
• Remember that you are not hosts but the guests of honor. Let your wedding day be about your vision and enjoyment, and fully embrace the experience without letting other opinions in.
• Trust your wedding planner, though. Even though it might seem that a small wedding like ours didn’t require extensive preparation, it was Kate’s expertise that helped us find the best vendors and fine-tune the smallest details we might have otherwise missed. At the beginning of the preparation, we questioned whether it was all worth it. In the end, the answer is a resounding 1,000 times YES!
