Dominik Schad is a talented football player well-known primarily for his role at 1. FC Kaiserslautern and SC Preußen 06 e. V. Münster entered a new phase of life last year. Away from the soccer field, he celebrated his marriage with Franziska at the idyllic Morrhof, a sought-after wedding venue renowned for its romantic and picturesque atmosphere. This event marked a personal milestone for the defender, known for his toughness and speed on the field.

Dominik and Franziska’s love story began in a lively bar in Kaiserslautern. From the start, they both dreamed of getting married early in their relationship. Franziska often wondered when that day would come, eagerly anticipating their future. After three years of growing closer, Dominik orchestrated a romantic proposal at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

When Franziska and Dominik entrusted the visual narrative of their wedding day to Koko Photography, they placed their memories in the hands of a master storyteller. Koko excels at capturing the real essence of the couple. His unobtrusive style lets him capture genuine moments of joy, love, and connection between lovebirds. This authenticity is clear in the way he highlights their laughter, shared glances, and affectionate gestures, making the film a true reflection of their relationship.

Koko’s attention to detail ensured that every part of the wedding was beautifully captured. His careful approach resulted in a visually cohesive film and enchanting gallery that feels personal and timeless.

Franziska’s morning began her day in the lush patio of the venue, dressed in a luxurious silk robe, surrounded by her friends and family. Her pampering routine was marked by grace and elegance with subtle, glowing makeup and hair pinned with pearl accessories, complementing her timeless gown. When she slipped into her dress and fastened her veil, she felt beautiful and confident, ready to join Dominik in matrimony.

The gown from Mariemariage Brautatelier with a strapless design and sweetheart neckline elegantly framed the bride’s shoulders and décolletage. The fitted bodice flowed seamlessly into a voluminous skirt, creating a beautiful sense of movement. Her gorgeous dress was perfectly complemented by a stunning bouquet in shades of white. The bouquet featured garden roses, lisianthus, and peonies, blending different textures for a simple yet luxurious look.

Dominik’s fine-tailored mint green suit exuded a fresh and sophisticated appeal. Paired with a crisp white shirt, the suit created a clean and polished look. He chose a classic white bowtie, matching pocket square, and a single white rose boutonnière. His attention to detail extended to his accessories—a sleek wristwatch, suede loafers, and a wedding ring housed in a luxurious white box with lovebirds initials.

For their wedding, the couple chose a venue that perfectly aligned with their vision for an intimate and nature-centric celebration. Known for its exquisite gardens, elegant banquet hall, and stunning turquoise pool encircled by cypress trees evocative of Tuscany’s serene landscapes, Morrhof provided a magical setting for their special day.

The pathway to the ceremony site was magical, leading down a grand staircase lined with greenery and floral arrangements. The bridesmaids, dressed in elegant emerald green gowns, added a vibrant splash of color to the natural surroundings. Franziska descended the staircase with her father. The aisle set atop a transparent platform over the pool, created a surreal and ethereal quality to the procession. The seatings for the ceremony were arranged in a theater-style setup, ensuring every guest had a clear view without obstruction, while large umbrellas provided shade for them.

The ceremony, officiated by Die Redekunst, was particularly memorable. The couple chose the location because it allowed all guests to be together while still offering the variety of sitting indoors or outdoors or spending time by the pool after the ceremony. They wanted something unique and aimed for their guests to go home, saying, “Wow, I’ve never experienced a wedding like this,” which they achieved. Their dog Bobby, accompanied by Franziska’s brother, brought the wedding rings, adding a unique touch to the ceremony.

What made the day unique was the emotional first look at the ceremony and the thoughtful touches throughout. As a surprise, Franziska gave her bridesmaids, dad, brother and Dominik bags with small gifts, with little touching presents while getting ready. Each guest received a small candle with their initials as a handmade gift from Franziska. Following a Polish tradition, Dominik and Franziska received a blessing from her parents before the ceremony.

When the ceremony concluded, the couple stepped into their eye-catching getaway car, a BMW with a shimmering metallic finish. The convertible was a perfect choice for the warm, sunny day, allowing them to feel the breeze and enjoy the scenic drive from the ceremony.

The historic charm of manicured gardens and walls draped in ivy provided a striking backdrop for another series of portraits. Koko‘s talent for blending romance with a touch of playfulness shone through in several candid shots. The soft, dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves added a warm, golden glow, highlighting the moment’s beauty.

The reception occurred under a stunning transparent marquee that offered an airy, light-filled environment while providing shelter. The tent’s clear panels allowed natural light to flood the space. When the evening went on, the softly fading dusk and the twinkling lights hung inside the tent created a magical atmosphere, making the space feel open and cozy.

The tables were a vision of sophisticated simplicity. Dressed in crisp white linens, they created a clean, elegant canvas for the gold accents and lush floral arrangements that adorned them. Delicate glass charger plates and gold flatware added opulence to the minimalist setting. The floral centerpieces, composed of white roses, peonies, and baby’s breath, were arranged in a loose, natural style that echoed the ceremony’s romantic floral themes.

Dominik and Franziska’s wedding perfectly united style, love, and community. It was a beautiful beginning to their life together, supported and celebrated by those closest to them. The festivity continued until 5:30 in the morning, showing the guests had an unforgettable time.

Advice from the couple:

Consider hiring a wedding planner. Although we managed to plan everything ourselves, having a professional by our side would have alleviated stress and pressure.
