Jacqui and Devin had a heartfelt wedding at the same historic hotel where they had their engagement session.
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
Style: Elegant, modern, vintage
Setting: Hotel & Outdoor courtyard
Season: Summer
Jacqui and Devin accidentally matched on a dating app, and their first date was over Memorial Day weekend at Four Day Ray in Fishers, Indiana. Jacqui works as a Sales Assistant at The Barrington of Carmel, where she loves helping seniors feel at home and learning about their pasts. Devin works for UPS in Plainfield and plans to start learning computer coding. Both Jacqui and Devin enjoy staying busy and having fun with friends and family, who are incredibly important to them besides each other and their two wiener dogs, Paco and Frank.
As their relationship grew and their love deepened, Devin decided it was time to propose. He orchestrated a perfect day at a winery, gathering Jacqui’s best friend, her husband, Devin’s brother, and his fiancée to join them. Devin seized the moment when they all suggested taking pictures out in the field. He got down on one knee and asked Jacqui to marry him. She couldn’t believe that!
"The things I love about Devin are that he can make me belly laugh, he is incredibly thoughtful, we love to learn together, and he always tries to remain in the present with me!"

Groom's Getting Ready
The groom chose a classic black suit, elegantly adorned with a crisp white shirt and a boutonniere that matched the wedding’s floral theme. The indoor cocktail hour was a lively and elegant affair. Guests mingled under the warm glow of modern, spherical chandeliers, which added a touch of sophistication to the venue. The wedding gift table and memorial table were adorned with minimalist, touching floating candles.
Reception
After the ceremony, the staff at The Bottleworks Hotel seamlessly transformed the ceremony space into a stunning reception area during the lovely indoor cocktail hour.
The round tables were covered with crisp white tablecloths, providing a clean, neutral backdrop that highlighted the floral arrangements and gold accents. Vibrant, fresh centerpieces featured a mix of roses and carnations in shades of coral, peach, and white, accented with greenery, creating an eye-catching focal point. String lights were strung overhead, giving the space a warm and inviting glow. The minimalistic decorations allowed the venue’s natural light and clean design to stand out.
Jacqui and Devin love traditions and were excited about the cake-cutting. The cake, decorated with peach and coral roses, reflected their simple and elegant style. Holding the knife together, they made the first slice, smiling and laughing.
There was also a sweet table where guests could indulge in beautifully arranged cupcakes with frosting in chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet.
Following tradition, the newly married couple shared their first dance as husband and wife. Holding each other close, they moved gracefully to the music, lost in the moment of their love. As the evening progressed, the bride gracefully tossed her bouquet into the air, a symbol of hope and anticipation for the next bride-to-be.
The air was filled with warmth as loved ones shared heartfelt words, creating an atmosphere of unity and joy. Heartfelt toasts and amusing anecdotes brought laughter and affection throughout the evening. The night culminated in dancing beneath the sunset sky.
