Love is the ethereal force that intertwines hearts, weaving tales of connection, resilience, and shared dreams. Brett and Jenna’s love story is a testament to the unpredictable paths that life can take. Growing up in neighboring cities with mutual friends, they finally collided after college on a friend group vacation to Nashville. The lovebirds have been together for 5.5 years and currently live in Atlanta.

Nestled in Cleveland, Georgia, the Meadows at Mossy Creek served as the enchanting canvas for Brett and Jenna’s wedding day. With its captivating design, this venue overlooked sprawling grassy meadows that seemed to stretch endlessly into the horizon. From the bride: “When I was looking for a venue, one of our must-haves was having a place that we could stay on-site with our whole bridal party. Our relationship was built alongside these friends, and we wanted to be able to spend as much time together as we could throughout the weekend. Meadows at Mossy Creek checked all our boxes, including having cottages we could share”.

In the serene atmosphere of the bridal suite, an air of excitement and anticipation filled the room. Jenna chose the Archie dress by Made With Love Bridal for her big day, paired with an elegant low voluminous bun, with loose strands framing her face.

The bride looked stunning and felt an abundance of encouragement and warmth from her mother and bridesmaids as she stepped into the next beautiful chapter of her life.

The bridesmaids wore plain silk dresses that matched the theme and venue’s colors.

This day unfolded, generously gifting a succession of heartfelt moments. As Jenna stepped onto the veranda in the glorious glow of her wedding dress, her father was waiting. Their eyes locked in a meaningful dialogue as he glimpsed his daughter, now standing before him as a bride. The tears on her father’s cheeks were tears of joy at the new beginnings before his daughter. They shared a silent understanding—an acknowledgment of the inevitable passage of time and the preciousness of the moments they hold dear. It was a touching symphony of emotions.

The groom’s morning unfolded with laughter, and the distinct sound of golf clubs meeting the ball as friends, dressed in matching suits and shoes, created a visual unity reflecting their bonds. This gathering became a steadfast brotherhood, providing emotional support as the groom prepared for a significant life event.

Brett and Jenna found themselves on the cusp of a cherished part of the day—their first look. This intimate moment offered a valuable pause amidst the bustling activity. It became a rare chance for them to carve out a private space, fostering an emotionally charged connection away from the crowd.

Their enchanting ceremony that, despite unforeseen weather challenges, became a testament to the adaptability and the resilience of love. “We already had the inside venue planned for the reception, so when we realized the rain was gonna start (literally the moment the ceremony started, of course), we pivoted to move that inside as well,” – the couple share.

Raindrops created a melodic accompaniment against the backdrop of the windows. Inside, surrounded by the warmth of their loved ones, the couple exchanged promises that transcended the weather, turning an unpredictable moment into a uniquely beautiful chapter of their love story.

The commencement of Jenna and Brett’s ceremony unfolded with a heartwarming moment as Jenna, accompanied by her father, made her way down the aisle. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation, and all eyes turned toward the radiant bride and her proud father.

Kim Hymes Photography was present to skillfully capture the array of emotions, beauty, and love that characterized Brett and Jenna’s most special day. With a clear mission, Kim adeptly translated the essence of the day into each photograph. Her lens artfully kept the unique sophistication, transforming every image into a visual masterpiece that narrates the beautiful story of the couple’s love-filled celebration.

The decor at Brett and Jenna’s wedding was a mesmerizing tapestry of elegance and personal touches. From the entrance adorned with delicate florals to the reception area where soft lighting created an enchanting ambiance, every detail reflected the couple’s meticulous planning and aesthetic vision. The color palette, a harmonious blend of natural tones with pops of peach and green, infused warmth and vibrancy into the celebration.

As the evening unfolded, surrounded by those dearest to them, the couple was enveloped in a cascade of warm and sincere words that added a special glow to their celebration. Friends and family, moved by the love shared between the couple, expressed heartfelt sentiments that resonated throughout the venue. From toasts that sparkled with joy to heartfelt well-wishes for a life filled with happiness, the atmosphere was imbued with love and positivity.

Jenna and Brett’s first dance, filled with love and emotion, was a momentous occasion, symbolizing the initial steps into their life journey as a united couple.

The couple’s traditional wedding cake took a delightful twist. Opting for assorted mini cupcakes instead, they aimed to keep the party energy high without interruptions. By offering these bite-sized treats, guests could savor dessert at their leisure, ensuring a seamless transition from dinner to the dance floor. The decision not only added a playful touch to the festivities but also garnered numerous compliments. The mini cupcakes became a hit, proving that sometimes, breaking away from tradition leads to sweet surprises and a dance floor filled with uninterrupted joy.

This celebration became a tribute to love, a day where attendees joyfully danced away their worries, immersed in the jubilation surrounding the newlyweds.

Advice from the couple:

• Having a good team of people around you (vendors and friends) who really care made the day so much less stressful. Having complete trust in my vendors allowed me to relax and enjoy the day with my husband.

• Always always always have a back-up rain plan. Luckily, we already had the inside venue planned for the reception, so when we realized the rain would start(literally the moment the ceremony started, of course), we pivoted to move that inside as well. Not to mention having clear umbrellas on standby for cute outdoor photos.
