Isabella and Steven first crossed paths during their first year of high school when they were just 14. A friendship blossomed, turning into a high school romance in their final year. After a break during university, their paths realigned during the pandemic, leading to buying a home together and marriage.

The wedding took place in Elora, Ontario, Canada, at a beautifully renovated mill transformed into an elegant venue with grand ballroom. After a year of meticulous planning, since their proposal in July 2022, the couple welcomed 156 guests to celebrate their union.

The morning of the wedding was full of excitement and elegance. Isabella, aiming for a look of timeless elegance, chose a stunning dress featured a removable skirt and a custom-made bow, allowing Isabella multiple looks throughout the day.

Steven complemented the elegance of the bride in his attire, choosing a classic suit with a black bow tie.

For the first look Isabella and Steven met at the mill. Together, they walked around the beautiful surroundings to a vintage car, where they had a beautiful photo session with Isabella Villani capturing the joy and love of the day. The photographer chose interesting angles to encapsulate the emotion and beauty of each moment. Her photos beautifully showcased everything from the subtle glances exchanged by the couple to the grand, heartfelt kisses.

After these lovely photos, the couple joined their wedding party and headed to the ceremony, excited to start the next part of their wedding day.

The wedding ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touches: We really took over our wedding in terms of only doing what we liked and tried our best not to fall into the expectations of others. I really believe this day should be perfectly cultivated for you as a couple and its the best way to not hold regrets.” Vows were exchanged in the serene ambiance of the ballroom, surrounded by close family and friends, making it a heartfelt experience.

The decor for the reception was classy and romantic, with a timeless and elegant summer feel. The tables were adorned with beautifully arranged flowers, handpicked and grown by local vendor. The colors and the setting created an atmosphere that was both inviting and luxurious.

The evening was filled with memorable details. The exceptional service at the venue left a lasting impression, with five-star quality meals that were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious to eat. Music filled the air, adding to the joyful mood, and the night ended on a high note, with guests and the couple alike cherishing every moment.

Advice from the couple:

Stay close to the vision of your dreams but make compromises where it makes the most sense.

Try to use local vendors and people just starting out. We tried to do this with every vendor we had. Being an amatuer photographer myself – it was important to me that I not choose the most popular options or the most expensive. I wanted to choose people who really cared about their work and would take pride in it. I’ve been given a lot of chances in this life and I know how every opportunity can bring people closer to their dreams.

We also recommend having a first look, we really believe this helped our day run smoothly in regards to getting all the photos we wanted and still being able to attend cocktail hour and socialize with our guests. I know its not for everyone but we are happy that we did it.
