The enchanting views of the Gulf of Naples served as the breathtaking backdrop for Antonio and Livia’s romantic and elegant wedding. With an all-white theme envisioned by the bride, every detail radiated class and elegance.

Time of planning: 1 year
Number of guests: 200
Setting: Ceremony – church, reception – castle

Antonio and Livia’s love story began like many others—through mutual friends. It wasn’t until a summer holiday in Calabria in 2015 that sparks truly began to fly. Years later, under the dazzling lights of Paris at the base of the Eiffel Tower, Antonio proposed, marking the beginning of their journey toward forever. Their wedding day was the culmination of this incredible love story, set against the magical backdrop of the Sorrento Peninsula.
Bridal Morning
Livia’s stunning gown from Passaro Sposa featured delicate lace details and a flowing tulle skirt, perfectly matching her dream of an all-white wedding. Her makeup, done by Sabrina Minauda, was soft and elegant, complementing her natural beauty.
The bouquet, a mix of white roses and gypsophila, reflected the floral theme that would carry through the entire day. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, Livia prepared for the day with excitement and anticipation, each moment lovingly captured by the photographer Ciro Guardasole.
Antonio, dressed in a classic black tuxedo, looked very classy and timeless. His preparations were filled with a quiet excitement, shared with his close friends and family. Every detail of his attire was polished and sophisticated, mirroring the timeless elegance of the day.
Ceremony
Antonio and Livia exchanged vows in a stunning ceremony, held in a grand and historic church adorned with soft white floral arrangements. Its magnificent architecture, with ornate ceilings and detailed artwork, set the tone for a solemn and joyful ceremony.
White gypsophila and roses adorned the altar, adding an elegant touch to the sacred space. As the couple stood before their family and friends, their love and excitement were noticeable. The exchange of rings, performed in front of a priest, marked a deeply emotional moment as they promised a lifetime of love and commitment to each other.
“The journey marks the beginning of a new book in their lives, a tale of discoveries, emotions, and, most importantly, love.”

Moment Alone
The couple stole a moment alone at the castle grounds, with the panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius serving as the backdrop. The Castello Medioevale, built by the Duke of Sorrento in the 9th century, added a layer of historic grandeur to the day. Its position overlooking the panoramic views has inspired artists for centuries, making it the perfect location for a wedding that combines elegance, romance, and history.
Ciro Guardasole had a chance to capture their love against this dramatic castle backdrop. The intimate photos of Antonio and Livia, framed by the ancient stone walls and the soft evening light, were some of the most striking of the day. The setting, the light, and the couple’s undeniable connection created a series of photos that truly captured the essence of their love.
“As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing love stories of all kinds, with some that seem like authentic fairy tales that leave a deep impression on the heart. The story of Antonio and Livia is certainly one of those.”

Cocktail Hour
Before dinner, the guests gathered by the castle’s entrance, where they enjoyed live music from the Campania region. Traditional instruments like the tambourine added a festive touch, and each guest received one, joining in the joyful rhythms. The vibrant music created an energetic atmosphere, infusing the day with cultural flair as the celebration began.
Reception
The reception was held on the castle’s terrace, with stunning floral arrangements of white gypsophila at the center of each table. The decor was chic and timeless, with white velvet seating, elegant stationery, and delicate accents throughout.
The dinner, a feast of local flavors, was served as the guests enjoyed the views of the Gulf and the magical ambiance of the castle. The couple’s first dance, surrounded by their loved ones, was a moment of pure joy. As live music filled the air, everyone joined the stunning bride on the dance floor, continuing the celebration with energy and excitement.
Party & Entertainment
As the evening progressed, Livia changed into a glamorous second dress, perfect for the night’s festivities. The highlight of the night was the cake-cutting ceremony, where guests lined a path with sparklers, creating a tunnel of light. “One of the most extraordinary moments during the cake cutting was the elegant filling from above of a sumptuous pyramid of vintage crystal champagne glasses,” the photographer shared.
The evening ended with dancing late into the night, with a video mapping of the couple’s love story projected onto the castle walls, providing a magical and emotional end to the celebration.
“The event garnered unanimous praise and positive feedback from all participants: the newlyweds, the guests, the working team, and the entire staff involved. The synergy and dedication of everyone made this an extraordinary and unforgettable celebration.”
