This love fairytale began in 2014 when Ludovica was looking for a job while studying at university. At that time, Michele had a cocktail bar, so he hired her. Day by day, their feelings grew, and the relationship evolved. “It was not easy, with thirteen years between us and different perspectives on life,” the couple recalls. Luckily, they had a lot in common: dreams, wishes, and a list of things to do.
After nine years of dating, Michele proposed to Ludovica. They wanted to make their wedding unique not only for themselves but for their family and friends as well. This was important to them because they had so little time to spend with their loved ones in real life. The best idea was to get away for two days without rush or schedule and celebrate this significant moment with their closest people.
The lovebirds chose the photo and film duo Elettra and Umberto from Poeticae Studio to capture their special day. With their artistic vision, they beautifully preserved every wedding moment, ensuring lasting memories filled with genuine emotions.

Their wedding occurred at Borgo di Castelvecchio in Val d’Orcia, Tuscany, offering blissful views and picturesque landscapes. The couple adores the area for its food, wines, and romantic feel. The serene atmosphere was a gift to everyone during those days.
For the first day, Ludovica and Michele planned a dinner inspired by the “Great Gatsby” theme. Just imagine a roaring twenties vibe with champagne and crazy dancing. The women wore flapper dresses and feathered headbands with rhinestones, while the men wore trousers paired with vests and added accessories such as pocket watches on a chain and a newsboy cap. The couple brought a luxury vibe to the space, and even their beloved dog joined the celebration.
As entertainment, Ludovica and Michele prepared a stilt dancing show that looked stunning in the evening, set against the backdrop of beautiful architecture. Closer to the end of the party, partners filled the champagne tower in honor of the occasion.
After a fun-filled welcome party, the big day finally arrived. The bride’s look embodied elegance, with the sequin netting in the dress adding a touch of brightness. The highlight of the gown was the completely open back. It gave Ludovica a chic appearance and emphasized her dignity. A simple and long veil added a touch of romance and tradition, while butter-colored pointed-toe shoes complemented the overall refined bridal attire.
Michele wore a blue suit, an Italian-style bow tie, and classic shoes. To give his appearance a careless vibe, the groom decided not to style his hair and beard, which gave him a certain charm and boldness.
Ludovica’s father was ready to accompany his daughter to her future husband, symbolizing his love and support. They arrived in a retro car at the ceremony, where Michele and all the guests were already gathered. The ceremony took place in San Galgano Abbey, a venue steeped in history. Its ancient walls had witnessed many events; now, they would bear witness to Michele and Ludovica’s marriage. The place was decorated with flowers and red flowy fabric, which enhanced rather than overshadowed the existing beauty of the location.
The wedding party kicked off with live music and appetizers. Guests enjoyed a selection of wines at the bar while the venue was being set up for dinner.
The highlight was the beautifully decorated table adorned with warm-toned flowers. Every detail, from the napkins to the glasses, was carefully arranged, creating a cozy Italian family atmosphere.
The newly married couple is adjusting to their new roles as husband and wife. This beautiful moment was perfectly captured, preserving their joy and excitement for years to come.

While some danced others opted for tattoos – a bold choice reserved for the fearless. It became a lasting reminder of those days.
