Cassidy and Coleman met in Texas through mutual friends. After a few months of dating, they realized that their connection was more than friendship. They became inseparable, spending all their free time together and growing closer every day. Eventually, they decided to move to California to start a life together.
When it came time to plan their wedding, the lovebirds knew they wanted something special and memorable. Lake Como was the perfect setting for their dream ceremony, and Villa Balbiano, with its stunning gardens and historic rooms, was the ideal venue. Their intimate wedding was a magical experience for all their guests, and what truly made the day special was the choice of photographer Vangelis. For the bride and groom, he was the only one who could capture the essence of their wedding with a stunning blend of timeless elegance and contemporary flair.
Villa Balbiano was the ideal location because of its magnificent view of Lake Como and the curated and historic areas. The planners created three distinct but coordinated themes for the three-day event at Villa Balbiano: the pre-wedding dinner was a romantic affair under the trees, featuring chandeliers and candles that bathed guests in warm light at the majestic wave imperial table. The wedding showcased white, cold tones and a mix of materials like white flowers, marble, mirrors, and silver. The post-wedding event highlighted Italian cuisine and a poolside brunch serving pizza, pasta, and custom drinks.
Cassidy enjoyed a beautiful wedding morning with her family and bridesmaids. She wore a mermaid Julie Vino wedding dress, which was beautifully complimented by the long veil. Elena Panzeri expertly did her elegant low updo hairstyle and makeup. With their photographer Vangelis behind the lens, she was also able to enjoy a boudoir session, a personal and cherished moment dedicated solely to her.
Coleman looked stylish in his classic suit as he prepared for his wedding day with a breathtaking view of Lake Como.
The ceremony, set against the backdrop of Lake Como, was truly mesmerizing. However, what truly made Cassidy and Cole’s ceremony special were their deeply personal and heartfelt vows that touched all their guests. These moving vows were followed by their first walk as a married couple down the aisle to the song “Bitter Sweet Symphony” by The Verve, adding an extra special touch to their already magical day.
The newlyweds’ highlight of the wedding was undoubtedly the post-ceremony boat ride. They sailed the calm waters of Lake Como on a Riva boat, with the cheers of their excited family and friends watching them from the garden of Villa Balbiano. Once they set off from the villa, they were greeted by the vibrant locals on their boats, who approached to congratulate the newlyweds, express their well-wishes, and exclaim, “Viva gli sposi!”
The reception was magical, with an elegant and glamorous atmosphere created using cold tones and unique details like fairy lights and mirrors. The setting featured a mix of materials and textures, including marble, glass, concrete, mirrors, transparencies, white elements, and flowers. The food was a key element, with a rich Italian-style buffet during the aperitivo, followed by curated dishes for dinner, such as Risotto “Acquerello” with scallops and beef fillet with Vin Santo sauce. The couple selected a well-received wine, Amarone della Valpolicella, Masi-Veneto, with a deep ruby red color and complex aroma of ripe berries, plum, cherry, tobacco, and spices.
The night concluded with a spectacular fireworks display set to music, with vibrant colors and lights shimmering on the dark waters of Lake Como.
