Overjoyed, Brooke happily accepted, and they began planning their wedding, excited to start this new chapter of their lives together.
Brooke and Sam envisioned their wedding as a timeless weekend-long celebration, blending elegance with tropical charm. Their theme embraced a fusion of classic and modern, set against the magnificent backdrop of Hawaii. Inspired by the island’s natural beauty, their vision centered around creating an atmosphere of refinement. The couple wanted their guests to enjoy every moment, so they planned a series of events spanning the entire weekend.
ZEB FILMS, a boutique wedding film studio, was honored to capture the magic of Brooke and Sam’s special day. With over 12 years of experience and a passion for travel and momentous occasions, they specialize in destination weddings, particularly in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. Their team’s artistry captured authentic moments, creating a film reflecting the essence of the couple’s love story.
To ensure every detail of their wedding weekend was perfect, the couple entrusted Opihi Love Weddings with the planning of each event. A few days before their big day, the talented team treated Brooke to a delightful Bridal Luncheon. She was surrounded by her closest friends and family and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere where guests could interact and get creative. The highlight of the luncheon was the opportunity for guests to craft their flower crowns, adding a fun and personal touch to the occasion. These flower crowns became charming accessories, adorning guests throughout the lunch, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere that perfectly set the tone for the coming celebrations.
The day continued with a memorable sunset sailing program, where guests were treated to an enchanting experience on the sparkling waters of Maui. With an all-white dress code adding an air of elegance, guests embarked on a breathtaking journey with the first rays of the fading sun. The boat glided across the sparkling waters, the sky painted a breathtaking canvas of colors, and it seemed as if nature itself was rejoicing in the celebration. Suddenly, a vibrant rainbow emerged; it was a moment of pure serendipity.
The following day, a vibrant pool party unfolded at Montage Kapalua Bay, immersing guests in the lively spirit of festivity. The party’s theme was inspired by the iconic Veuve Clicquot, infusing the atmosphere with elegance and zest. Bright yellow striped towels adorned the poolside loungers, while freshly chopped coconuts offered a refreshing tropical treat.
The following day, a vibrant pool party unfolded at Montage Kapalua Bay, immersing guests in the lively spirit of festivity. The party’s theme was inspired by Veuve Clicquot, with bright yellow striped towels, chopped fresh coconuts, and a fun lei-making station for guests to create leis and wear them to the wedding.
That evening, guests enjoyed dinner poolside and had speeches by the wedding party and their close family and friends. The tables were adorned with exotic flowers and verdant plants and stood majestically near the pool. It was a picturesque setting, reminiscent of a tropical paradise, where guests could relax and savor the moment.
Surrounded by the soft glow of twinkling lights and the soothing sounds of cascading water, the dinner was nothing short of amazing, and the setting was perfect for guests to prepare for the wedding day.
Bride’s morning was full of excitement and positive vibes. Fashion played a key role in setting the tone for the event, with Brooke dazzling in a series of stunning white outfits, each reflecting a different style. From boho chic to glamorous sophistication, she effortlessly embodied splendor with every ensemble.
Brooke chose a breathtaking two-toned gown from Galia Lahav for the ceremony. With its slim fit-to-flare silhouette and ornate details, including sheer side paneling, an open back, and delicate tulle off-the-shoulder sleeves, the gown exuded an air of sexy and glam. She indulged in charming makeup accentuated by bouncy curls cascading around her face.
The ladies were dressed in mix-matched bridesmaid dresses in the same printed blue color palette, which perfectly matched the color story of the day.
Sam added a unique touch to his attire with an interesting bow tie featuring feather details. It was the perfect complement to his classic look with an elegant black tuxedo.
The bride and groom’s first look unfolded in a serene tropical garden surrounded by lush foliage. What a perfect setting for such an intimate and cherished moment!
Olowalu is a unique venue in itself, as it is one of Maui’s most private oceanfront venues on the islands. The unique atmosphere was enhanced with a full tropical floral arch that framed the bride and groom when they said their ‘I do’s.
In a pure and fascinating way, Zeb Films caught Brooke and Sam’s special moments against the tropical lush greenery and the ocean backdrop, where the gentle Hawaiian breeze swept them away. Each shot radiated with the joy and love shared between the newlyweds amidst Maui’s natural splendor.
From the beginning, Brooke and Sam were drawn to a color palette of white, soft ivory, adding soft shades of dusty blue hues accented with shades of natural greenery inspired by the venue’s natural foliage. Custom-printed menus and hand-stitched napkins bearing the bride and groom’s initials adorned each table, adding an elegant and personalized touch to the decor.
The couple was determined to create a wedding experience that would be truly unforgettable for their guests. To achieve this, their dear friend skillfully hand-painted live portraits of their guests throughout the day, adding a personalized touch to the celebrations.
The lovebirds also prioritized showcasing the island’s rich culture and leaving their guests impressed. They incorporated various activities with Hawaiian flair throughout the wedding festivities, ensuring a memorable experience for all. One standout moment was the Hawaiian dance, which charmed every participating soul.
Adding a personalized touch to the festivities, Brooke and Sam curated their signature cocktails served in vintage-colored glassware alongside past local appetizers that tantalized guests’ taste buds. Every dish showcased the island’s flavors, from fresh hamachi to an interactive poke bar. The couple also offered a unique experience with interactive stations themed “From the Land, From the Sea, and From the Earth.” It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate the flavors of Maui.

Slowly, we approached the sweet half of the evening. The newlyweds cut the ivory-colored tiered wedding cake adorned with intricate roses and delicate patterns.
The open-air party under the twinkling lights was absolutely delightful. Guests sang and danced to their favorite songs, filling the air with joyous energy. It was a fun celebration, and everyone had a wonderful time.
