Ryan and Robin’s love story began at work. On a regular day, Ryan saw Robin walking into the office to interview. “From the moment she walked in, I just knew she was the one,” he recalls. Their strong friendship evolved into a deep and enduring romance, even as they pursued new career paths.
Five years later, Ryan popped the question against the backdrop of the white sandy beaches of Tulum. The proposal surprised Robin and was made even more memorable by Ryan’s thoughtful gesture. Robin adores starfishes. On Robin’s 30th birthday, Ryan got a clever plan, pretending to have discovered a starfish by the shore. Intrigued, Robin rushed to his side, only to realize that the starfish was unreal. Instead, she found Ryan on one knee, holding a shimmering ring in his hand, asking her to spend forever by his side.
Inspired by their fond memories of Ibiza, Ryan and Robin wanted to create a wedding day that would transport their guests to a night of pure magic and romance. They decided on a garden-themed wedding, which perfectly embodied their dream. Skillful photographer Maria Simon of Marnosuite, captured every moment of Ryan and Robin’s dream come true with breathtaking clarity and beauty.
Their chosen venue, the Hotel Rural Xereca, was located in the heart of Ibiza and offered a welcoming Mediterranean climate and idyllic landscapes for the big day. It was surrounded by lush greenery and bathed in soft, golden light, creating an atmosphere of serenity.
The wedding morning was full of excitement as the bride and her bridesmaids gathered in her elegant hotel room. Robin’s wedding dress hung delicately in the corner, waiting to adorn her for the most special day of her life. Anai Perez and her beauty team ensured that Robin looked stunning on her wedding day and felt like the best version of herself.
To celebrate the occasion, ladies opened a bottle of champagne and raised their glasses in a toast to friendship, love, and the journey ahead. Robin presented each of her bridesmaids with a thoughtful gift: a delicate bracelet with a heart charm, symbolizing their shared bond and love.
Robin looked stunning in her modern yet romantic outfit. Her hair was styled in a loose, framing ponytail. Soft waves cascaded down her back, giving her an effortless look. Her makeup was kept simple and natural, enhancing her features. Neutral tones accentuated her eyes and lips, without overpowering her natural glow.
The show’s true star was her dress from Enzoani, perfectly embodying the fairytale romance that had captured her heart. With delicate floral lace and ethereal tulle, the A-line silhouette dress cascaded into a soft, flowing skirt designed to flatter her figure. The off-the-shoulder tulle straps added allure, delicately framing the neckline.
Right from the start, every aspect of the wedding was designed to uniquely reflect Ryan and Robin’s love story. The wedding bands the couple had chosen were Cartier classics in white and yellow gold, timeless symbols of love and commitment. Another personalized touch was Ryan’s jacket, embroidered with their initials.
In another hotel suite, Ryan was preparing for his wedding day with attention to details. The groom opted for a light-colored suit with a double-breasted vest that exuded sophistication and charm. Ryan completed his outfit by choosing suede loafers, comfortable yet stylish footwear. As he adjusted his tie and smoothed down his lapels, a sense of anticipation filled him, adding an extra spark to his preparations.
The groomsmen and bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in their elegant beige attire and were ready for the ceremony.
The couple exchanged their vows beneath a breathtaking floral arch decorated with an array of white blooms, set against a backdrop of lush greenery. Accomplished musicians filled the air with enchanting melodies, creating an idyllic atmosphere.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, with Ryan and Robin declaring their love in front of their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed the bliss of their love while Maria Simon of Marnosuite captured their tender moments between palms and greenery.
The reception unfolded beneath the open sky, surrounded by the fresh air and natural beauty of the outdoors. Dark wooden tables adorned with muslin white runners created an atmosphere of rustic charm. The clear glassware, catching the lights, added a touch of sparkle to the meticulously arranged table settings, and the greenery breathed life into the space.
The gentle glow of the lights created a warm and inviting atmosphere, enveloping the reception area in a soft, comforting radiance.
Ryan and Robin were surrounded by their loved ones while listening attentively to heartfelt speeches. All the guests savored a delicious dinner that delighted the senses and satisfied the soul. As the night wore on, the air was filled with laughter which mingled with the soft strains of music and the twinkling lights that illuminated the dance floor.
“The vision and concept of our day was based on the overall feeling we wanted our wedding to have—an extravagant garden-themed getaway that turned into a magical night,” the bride shares. The newlyweds created a sincere atmosphere that enveloped everyone in warmth and joy. Guests of all ages joined in the dancing the night away with abandon.
Advice from the couple:
• As hard as some days can be planning a wedding, try to enjoy the process, live in the moment, and create your event for you; it’s your day! On the wedding day, before the ceremony or part way through the day – take ten minutes just the two of you to take some time away from the craziness and look from the outside in – because these memories are the ones you will hold on to forever!
• We also made sure to spend as much time together as possible. I think we were never more than 10 minutes apart, which made the day so special for us: being so engrossed in one another. Getting caught up with your wedding guests is straightforward, and the time you spend together at your wedding becomes limited!
