Doina and Richard’s paths crossed thanks to mutual friends over a dinner where conversation and chemistry sparked instantly. They found in each other a silent understanding, where few words conveyed deep meanings. Both born in June, a day apart, their connection deepened to a birthday proposal by Richard. They started to plan a small wedding with only close friends in order to enjoy every single moment with them but also to really appreciate their relationship. The wish was simple yet profound: for the joy of the wedding day to linger in their hearts forever.
The couple chose the Chateau Saint George, a breathtaking location near Nice, as their wedding venue. The majestic chateau set in October’s gentle embrace provided a picturesque backdrop for their beautiful celebration.
The morning of the wedding was filled with anticipation and elegance. Doina, in a stunning white gown, exuded timeless grace. Her dress, with off-the-shoulder drapery and a flowing silhouette, captured the glamour and sophistication of the day.
The groom chose a deep blue velvet jacket with contrasting black lapels that perfectly complemented the glamorous atmosphere of the occasion. The black bow tie added a classic touch to his attire and a white tulip complemented a bouquet of his bride.
Doina and Richard exchanged vows in an enchanting ceremony held beneath the white gazebo, surrounded by the estate’s gardens. The melodious tunes of a solo harpist added a touch of elegance to the charming atmosphere. Sunlight streamed through the trees, casting a warm glow over the couple as they promised to journey through life together.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the lawn in front of the chateau with a stunning view and lively music from a band, setting a joyous tone.

For the reception guests were welcomed into a sunlit room where tables were draped in white linen, crowned with golden-rimmed plates, and adorned with crystal glassware that sparkled under the chandelier’s light. The centerpieces were arrangements of soft white roses and baby’s breath that provided a delicate contrast to the gold accents.
When the sun almost set, Doina and Richard stole away for a private moment under the emerging moon, basking in the glow of their new beginning.
The evening celebration was warm and festive, with guests raising their glasses of champagne in numerous toasts to the newlyweds. Laughter and heartfelt wishes filled the air, contributing to the joyful atmosphere. The cake was an impressive croquembouche, adorned with sparklers that cast a warm light on the smiling faces of the bride and groom. It was a night of sincere celebration and memorable moments for everyone present.
As evening fell, the pool area, bathed in tranquil blue light, provided a serene and picturesque setting for the newlyweds’ first dance, surrounded by the loving presence of friends and family.
