Mike and Hayley, both transplants to Colorado, met one fateful night at Avanti in Denver just a month after Mike had moved to the state. They instantly hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. They enjoy concerts, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, skiing, and spending time with their English Mastiff, Lulu. Mike surprised Hayley with a proposal at Dillon Reservoir, and she was completely shocked by the romantic gesture.
As they began planning their wedding, they envisioned a modern yet boho celebration with fall colors and an eclectic vibe. They reached out to Birch and Honey Collective to help bring their dream wedding to life, and from the morning preparations to the evening party, every detail was carefully planned with love and attention to detail.
Hayley was surrounded by her closest family and friends on her wedding morning. She chose a fitted, minimalist dress with delicate lace details, elegant makeup, and curly hair, which made her bridal look absolutely stunning. Having a first look with her father and beloved family made the day even more special.
Mike and his groomsmen were busily preparing for the wedding day. The groom’s look was stylish and sophisticated, with some special touches that made it truly unique. Hayley gifted Mike a vintage Rolex to wear on his wedding day, and Mike’s sister surprised him with their late father’s cologne, adding a sentimental touch to the day.
The couple’s first look was truly enchanting, set in the beautiful fields surrounded by nature’s picturesque beauty. They exchanged personal vows, creating an intimate and joyful moment before the ceremony.
The ceremony took place outdoors, and Mike was in awe as Hayley walked down the aisle with her father. The entire ceremony was touching and beautiful, with their closest loved ones all around.
The flowers and design at the wedding were absolutely stunning. Their planners at Birch and Honey Collective and other vendors helped create a beautifully designed event. The peachy tones were incorporated throughout, from the paper goods to the candles and napkins. The vibrant flowers added a special touch, making everything look even more magical.
The reception was incredible as the contagious energy of the newlyweds filled the room. Mike and Hayley received heartfelt wishes from their loved ones, danced their first dance surrounded by family, and cherished every moment of the celebration.
One of the standout moments of the evening was the delightful heart-shaped cake crafted by Alyce in Flourland and the live painter capturing a beautiful portrait of the newlyweds right after they exchanged their vows.
The night was filled with joy as Hayley, Mile, and their guests danced to the lively tunes of the invited band.
Advice from the couple:
• Make sure to carve out some time for just the two of you! Having our sweetheart table and going to change into our second look together gave us some time for just the two of us. Although we loved spending time with everyone, the day went by so fast, and in those moments with just us two, time seemed to slow down for just a little bit. And of course, trust your vendors, that is the best choice we made!
