Laura and Chris tied the knot on the stunning cliffs of Santorini at the Rocabella, overlooking breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and Caldera. Their journey began seven years ago and had blossomed from a series of weekend meet-ups across the country to a deep commitment that now included a son, a home, and a soon-to-arrive new addition to the family. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows this summer, creating memories as vibrant and timeless as the Greek backdrop.

Laura and Chris’s story is as modern as it is enduring. Meeting in 2017 through a dating app, they quickly bonded over shared experiences, including a recent stint living in Dubai. Despite being three hours apart in the UK, their relationship flourished, with weekends spent creating cherished memories. In 2019, Chris moved from Southport to Lincoln to be closer to Laura, and their bond only deepened from there. A romantic proposal followed in December 2021, when Chris presented a custom-designed ring from Cara Jewelers in Dubai during a peaceful winter walk. Since then, their love story has only grown, marked by the birth of their son, Coby, in 2023, and the upcoming arrival of their second child in 2025.
Location & Concept
With a background in the wedding industry—Laura and Chris run a wedding décor business, Elegance by LE—the couple had a clear vision for their day. They chose Santorini for its iconic cliffside views and romantic atmosphere, making Rocabella the perfect setting for their wedding. Planning the event over 18 months, they curated every detail to reflect their modern, elegant style with neutral and gold tones that echoed the stunning Greek landscape.
Bridal Morning
Laura’s gown, a masterpiece by the Italian designer Royaldi, displayed a refined and romantic style. The “Ronnie” dress featured intricate lace details, perfectly complemented by a cathedral veil. She kept her jewelry minimal, opting for simple gold and pearl studs, allowing the dress to remain the key point.
Her Jimmy Choo “Saeda” heels added a touch of glamour, while her perfume—Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Gentle Fluidity—was engraved with their initials and wedding date, a subtle yet meaningful personal touch. Julia Popova, her makeup artist, created a classic look that enhanced Laura’s natural beauty, while her bouquet, crafted by Bloom De Fleur, featured delicate white and nude-toned flowers, capturing the wedding’s chic palette.
Groom's Fashion
Chris’s attire was inspired by the sleek style of James Bond, with a custom-designed suit by Noble Fox. The clean, sharp lines of his ensemble, paired with a bow tie from Gucci, created a sophisticated look. Personal details were woven throughout, including his initials embroidered on the cuff and a special engraving inside the jacket featuring their names and wedding date. He completed his look with Louis Vuitton “Kensington Derbies,” a Rolex Sea Dweller, and an engraved Cartier “love ring.” His boutonniere by Bloom De Fleur added a classic floral touch, uniting his look with Laura’s bouquet.
Ceremony
Held at Rocabella’s Infinity Kiosk, the ceremony setup was a vision of modern romance. Laura and Chris chose this private area for its serene views of the Caldera and the elegant pergola, which was adorned with grand floral pillars in nudes and whites. They walked down a mirrored aisle framed by floral meadows and acrylic ghost chairs, adding a contemporary feel to the classic setup. A personalized fan awaited each guest, and a reserved sign mirrored the aisle, subtly reflecting the couple’s keen eye for detail.
As Laura made her entrance to Clinton Kane’s “I Guess I’m in Love,” the emotional moment was perfectly captured, followed by the couple’s joyful exit to Chris Brown’s “Forever,” a choice that brought smiles all around.
"Our guests were wowed by the ceremony set up and loved all of the florals and overall style we had created."

Private Moment
Following the ceremony, Laura and Chris took a private moment together, captured beautifully by their photographer, Eva Rendl. Against the Santorini landscape, they shared an intimate drive along the coastline, a moment of quiet before joining their guests. Eva’s ability to capture the genuine, unscripted connection between the couple was evident, with each image radiating the joy and love they felt. “We had people within the wedding industry in the UK thinking it was a styled shoot, not our actual Wedding Day,” laughed Laura.
"When our guests saw our sneak peak wedding photo, the feedback from all of our guests was they thought it looked like a cover of a magazine."

Decor & Setting
The reception took place at the Infinity Pool area, transformed into a luxurious dining space under the Greek sky. At the center was their sweetheart table, framed by cascading florals repurposed from the ceremony and crowned by a grand chandelier overhead. Each guest table was accented by smaller chandeliers, creating a romantic, illuminated atmosphere.
Florals from Bloom De Fleur adorned the tables in delicate arrangements within gold-framed cubes. To emphasize their neutral palette, they chose gold-rimmed glassware, stone-colored napkins, and taper candles. Thoughtfully chosen elements, from gold candlestick holders to personalized menus and place settings, displayed their expertise in wedding décor, a testament to their shared passion.
"We love a modern, clean, elegant style as this represents us both as a couple and we felt this was exactly the result we achieved."

Reception
The evening unfolded with a romantic dinner accompanied by live piano music by Raphael from Sunset Piano Notes, later joined by saxophonist Christos Aggouridakis for a lively transition into the dance segment.
As a surprise to their guests, Laura’s sister shared a heartfelt poem during the toasts, an unexpected moment that added a personal touch. The festivities continued with a DJ set by Anthony P, blending with Christos’s saxophone, setting the mood for an unforgettable evening. Their first dance to Clinton Kane’s “I Guess I’m in Love” was a moment of pure romance, highlighted by a fireworks display that lit up the night.
As a final surprise, the couple embraced a Greek tradition with a plate-smashing dance performance that brought everyone to their feet. Guests joined in, breaking plates under twinkling lights, ending the celebration in a spirited and memorable way. This unique blend of cultures and traditions made the night all the more unforgettable, resonating with guests long after they left Santorini.
"The entire day was truly perfect from start to finish."
