Ryan and Jessica’s love story began as high school sweethearts when they met during their freshman year. Ryan initially caught the eye of one of Jessica’s friends, but it was Jessica and Ryan’s friendship that lasted. After a few dates, Ryan asked her out under the Friday Night Lights, and “the rest is history.” They both feel “incredibly fortunate” to have grown up together, navigating high school, college, and the ups and downs of their twenties.

During COVID, Ryan secretly planned his proposal, during a trip to Atlantic City for Ryan’s birthday in 2023, he proposed. “Before I could fully comprehend what was happening, Ryan got down on one knee, and the answer was an obvious and resounding ‘yes.’”

The Vision & Photography

Ryan and Jessica envisioned their wedding day as a joyous celebration of their love and commitment, infused with meaningful, personal touches. Together with their vendors, they created an atmosphere of timeless beauty and sophistication, from the exquisite floral arrangements to the carefully curated decor that made the day feel truly special for their guests.

The couple worked closely with their photographer, Elle Studios, to capture the essence of their wedding day. Every candid moment and intimate glance was immortalized in photos that showcased the elegance of their celebration and the genuine, heartfelt connection they share. “The result was a wedding that perfectly captured the essence of who we are,” they said.

Bride's Morning & Fashion

Jessica chose a breathtaking gown by Lela Rose for her ceremony, a perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern flair. The traditional A-line silhouette, adorned with a captivating floral design, added a whimsical charm that felt uniquely hers. She selected simple yet stunning jewelry and a pair of exquisite shoes to complete the look. Featuring delicate blue florals, the shoes tied into the theme and served as her cherished “something blue.”

"Our approach to the overall glam was to keep it effortlessly elegant, with a light and airy aesthetic that perfectly harmonized with my all-down hairstyle."

Groom's Morning & Fashion

Ryan chose a timeless black suit, embracing simplicity and sophistication to let his natural charm shine. To tie into the floral theme and add a playful touch, he wore a meticulously crafted pocket square in shades of blue and white. The delicate floral pattern was the perfect complement to his classic look, adding a subtle yet captivating element.

Ceremony

Ryan and Jessica decided to forgo the traditional first look, opting to see each other for the first time at the altar. Looking back, they couldn’t be more thrilled with their decision. “It swiftly became the most cherished memory of our special day,” Jessica shared. The anticipation was electric, and when the moment finally arrived, their hearts raced with excitement and joy, overwhelming them with emotion.

Their ceremony took place against the stunning backdrop of Ryland’s architectural beauty, made even more enchanting by the aisle’s flower arrangements and a magnificent floral arch. They embraced their faith and chose a traditional ceremony while adding unique personal touches.

One memorable moment involved inviting their wedding party to affirm their commitment to supporting them—a significant gesture that deepened their connection with those who stood by them.

"The sight of each other, standing there at the altar, was a beautiful moment that surpassed our expectations. In that instant, the world around us seemed to fade into the background and it was as if time stood still."

Reception Decor

The Grand Ballroom was the perfect setting for their reception, and it was one of the main reasons Jessica and Ryan chose this remarkable venue. With its soaring ceilings, dazzling chandeliers, and a striking fireplace at its center, it was everything they had envisioned.

They selected a decor scheme that embodied “understated elegance,” with white linens and delicate floral accents. “The abundance of hydrangeas and peonies added a natural beauty that connected with both us and our family traditions,” they shared. The atmosphere was further elevated by the warm glow of candles, creating an intimate and inviting ambiance that made everyone feel right at home.

Celebration

Their reception was filled with countless unforgettable moments, each one etched in their hearts forever. From their first dance as a married couple to the heartfelt speeches from loved ones, the evening felt like a dream.

As time flew by, they were overwhelmed with love and joy, surrounded by the warmth and support of family and friends. Together, they danced the night away, celebrating the beautiful union that brought everyone together.

"We are grateful for the opportunity to create a wedding that was both grand and intimate, sophisticated and authentic. It was a true reflection of our love story, and we cherish the memories we made on that special day."
