Every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect their unique story and personalities, from their heartfelt ceremony to the vibrant reception. Set in stunning venues like Hotel Haya and Oxford Exchange, the day was filled with magical moments, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Location: Tampa, Florida, US
Style: Vintage, romantic, classic
Time of planning: 9 months
Number of guests: 80
Setting: Oxford Exchange
Season: Fall

Dolev and Sara have a love story that’s a mix of chance and fate. Dolev moved to Florida from Israel over a decade ago, while Sara, a Tampa Bay local, always came back after studying there. They met through online dating when Dolev offered Sara vegetables from his garden, leading to their first date. After two years of dating, traveling, and adopting their French bulldog, Charlie, they knew they were meant to be.

Dolev planned an unforgettable proposal during a trip to Greece, carrying the ring all day until the perfect moment at sunset atop a hill overlooking Athens. After saying “yes,” they celebrated with Dolev’s family in Greece before heading back to the States for a surprise party with Sara’s family and friends to continue the celebration.

Vision & Photography

Sara and Dolev envisioned an intimate, romantic, and timeless celebration—something that would always feel fresh and elegant, no matter how many years passed. They chose a classic black-and-white theme with touches of gold and greenery to bring warmth and life to the design. To complement this chic and sophisticated vibe, the couple asked guests to dress in “All Black,” which is Sara’s favorite color, adding a personal touch to the celebration while maintaining the timeless atmosphere they dreamed of.

The couple knew they needed a photographer who could capture the essence of their vision, and Sam Copland was the perfect fit. With her ability to play with light and shadows, she beautifully brought the black-and-white, romantic theme to life, making every moment feel as timeless and breathtaking as the wedding itself. From candid shots to intimate portraits, her work perfectly reflected the couple’s style and vision, ensuring that the day was preserved in the most stunning way.

Couple's Morning & Fashion

Sara had the best bridal morning with her bridesmaids and their adorable dog by her side. Everything felt just right – her strapless dress was stunning, her hair and makeup were flawless, and there was nothing but smiles and laughter all around.

The bride wanted everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful, allowing her ladies to showcase their personalities through their dresses. The bridesmaids each picked out their own black gowns, giving them the freedom to choose what made them feel best.

One of the most emotional moments of the morning for Sara was her first look with her father. It was so touching that it brought everyone to tears.

The men wore timeless black and white suits, with Dolev standing out in a white tux jacket paired with classic black pants.

Ceremony

The couple picked Oxford Exchange for its one-of-a-kind charm, which set the perfect tone for their entire celebration. The walk down the aisle was a truly emotional moment, making the beginning of the ceremony feel like something out of a fairy tale. There was so much love in the air, and you could feel the magic in every step.

They said their vows under a beautiful white lace-covered Chuppah, surrounded by a stunning mix of green and white flowers. Dahlias, white roses, anemones, and white stock created a wildflower-inspired look that felt both elegant and organic.

The ceremony was full of personal touches that made it even more meaningful. It felt like time slowed down, allowing the couple to truly savor every moment as they exchanged their vows.

Cocktail Hour

The cocktail hour perfectly blended elegance and relaxed vibes, setting the tone for the evening ahead. Guests mingled with signature drinks in hand, enjoying delicious appetizers surrounded by the venue’s charming atmosphere. It was the perfect moment for everyone to unwind, chat, and enjoy the start of a night to remember.

Reception & Decor

The entire wedding had a chic black and white theme, accented with gold and greenery for a touch of elegance. The classic black-and-white checkered floors set the tone, while portraits lining the grand stairway added a personal touch. But the real showstopper was the “greenhouse,” which served as the heart of the celebration. Dinner tables were adorned with candles and mini bouquets of white and green florals, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere.

The first dance was magical, with the newlyweds sharing a quiet, intimate moment under the soft glow of candles and twinkling lights. The guests looked on with smiles and teary eyes, creating an unforgettable, heartwarming scene.

For both the bride and groom, blending their two families and cultures was a key element of the day. This wedding marked the first time their extended families came together, and they wanted every detail to reflect the merging of their backgrounds and traditions.

Party

The night went on with Sara switching into a chic mini dress, perfect for dancing the night away. The newlyweds and their guests kept the energy high, enjoying the lively champagne tower and the delicious cake-cutting moment. It was the perfect mix of fun, celebration, and unforgettable memories.

As the night came to a close, everyone gathered for the traditional Hora dance, and the room was filled with energy, celebrating Sara and Dolev’s love. The newlyweds made their grand exit in a vintage car, adding the perfect touch of charm to an unforgettable celebration.
