Victoria and John celebrated their wedding on the Amalfi Coast, an enchanting setting they had always dreamed of. Their love story of simplicity and a deep connection was perfectly mirrored by the magical atmosphere of their celebration.
Martina Ruffini’s photography captured the essence of Victoria and John’s wedding with exceptional grace. Her images, reminiscent of classic Italian cinema, showcased the day with soft lighting and a palette of earthy colors. Each photograph seemed to freeze a gentle moment in time, from the wind playfully lifting the bride’s hair to the intimate touch shared by the couple. Ruffini’s ability to encapsulate such airy and serene moments created a visual narrative that felt light and tender, praising her skillful work.
Victoria and John spent morning in Palazzo Suriano, a heritage hotel in Vietri sul Mare dating back to 1743. The place where history and elegance are part of the every detail, made it an ideal setting for the beginning of their big day.
The couple aimed to experience true Italian style on their wedding day. They chose a color scheme inspired by the warm and earthy shades you’d find along the Mediterranean coast. To add a classic Italian touch, they arranged for a vintage Ape vehicle for their pre-wedding activities, channeling the iconic ‘Dolce Vita’ vibe.
Victoria prepared for the day in the hotel’s serene vibe, surrounded by close family and friends. She wore a beautifully simple wedding dress that was both stylish and functional. The gown featured sleeves that could be detached, giving her flexibility and comfort. Like a flowing cape, the veil caught the wind and created stunning photos, adding a dynamic element to her outfit that resonated with the day’s natural, tranquil setting.
John wore a white jacket that stood out with a sophisticated contrast against a classic dark vest and trousers. The look was tastefully completed with a dark tie that featured subtle floral patterns, adding a dash of romanticism to the sharp look.
The ceremony at the Basilica di S. Eustachio in Ravello was an intimate gathering of thirty people. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by the grandeur of the 12th-century church, which overlooks the characteristic emerald green waters of the Amalfi Coast’s shoreline.
After the ceremony, the planner organized a delightful surprise: the wedding party was treated to a boat ride to the reception venue. This unexpected journey allowed the guests to enjoy breathtaking coastal views.
The reception by the sea was filled with joy and intimate moments. The restaurant Il Pirata featured a table set with simple, beautiful decorations, including blush roses, blue hues, and soft candlelight, creating a romantic and welcoming atmosphere for the guests.
Advice from the couple:
• Rely on a planner to optimize time and resources and to give guests stress-free moments, never make them feel abandoned, and always have guidance throughout the event.
