Joey and Maggie have known each other for a while because Joey was good friends with Maggie’s older brother from high school. Joey hung out with Maggie’s family more than her because she was always away at school or doing research during the summers. It wasn’t until after college that Maggie started to see him more and invited him to her “Murder Mystery” party on New Year’s Eve. At the night’s end, Joey asked for Maggie’s parent’s permission and her brothers to ask her out. He asked her out in January, and Maggie decided to go on their first date in April.

Four years later, he continues to be her soul mate, best friend, IT guy, and cook. What she loves most about Joey is that he is the most selfless and caring person she has ever met. He will drop anything he is doing to help her and anyone else. Their favorite thing to do together is work on different creative things – putting together a meal, painting something, or putting something together!

The highly talented photographer Lindsay Elaine, who worked magic on this gorgeous day, crafted some timeless gems. She skillfully captured the sheer beauty of this unforgettable day, the couple’s love, and all those heartfelt emotions. Lindsay didn’t just take pictures, she crafted precious keepsakes for the lovebirds. With her artistic approach, Lindsay painted a vivid canvas of timeless, stunning photographs. Glancing at them is like stepping into the wedding vibe, soaking up every moment. It’s not just a photo, it’s a journey through the magic of their special day!

Growing up watching the TV series “Reign,” Maggie always romanticized the aesthetic of the Victorian Era, an era consumed by beautiful, manicured gardens and glamorous, vintage dresses. She was never a person to think about her wedding growing up, but she watched many movies and TV series about this era that turned into her vision for the wedding day.

Maggie dedicated considerable effort to discovering a gown that was exceptionally distinctive yet elegant and stylish. The quest for the perfect dress spanned a considerable amount of time and three different states. Additionally, Maggie aimed to incorporate an exclusive element into her wedding, choosing lavender as the distinctive touch. Lavender adorned the wedding stationery font, the bridesmaids’ attire, and the decor throughout the wedding reception. All these elements contributed to creating a unique and charming atmosphere.

Maggie is a person who never wears their hair up, but she knew she had to get out of my comfort zone for her wedding. After seeing Sophia Richie’s wedding hairstyle, she had 100% confidence to move forward with the slick back, low bun style. She was inspired by Sophia Richie’s wedding day hair and makeup!

A touching moment during the bride’s morning was Maggie’s first look at her father when he saw his daughter in her wedding attire for the first time. His heart was filled with love.

Joey looked exceptionally elegant in his luxurious, classic three-piece suit. His refined jacket with satin lapels gave him a particularly festive appearance. The groom spent his morning with his groomsmen, sharing the joy of the upcoming day. They celebrated together and assisted him in donning his wedding attire. This support from friends is invaluable and a testament to genuine friendship and support.

The ceremony in a Catholic chapel was traditional and lovely. The bride walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her father, where her beloved awaited her. They exchanged vows of eternal love and were pronounced husband and wife, marking a wonderful and heartfelt moment. Every guest present witnessed the birth of a new family, and not a single one remained indifferent—all were overjoyed for this charming couple. A special touch to the ceremony was Maggie’s veil, crafted by her aunt Camille.

After the ceremony, photographer Lindsay Elaine captured wonderful and memorable shots of Maggie and Joey with their friends.

Lindsay Elaine captured the couple’s portraits at a French-Italian private estate belonging to a family friend adorned with meticulously manicured gardens. This setting provided the perfect backdrop for creating genuinely distinctive and memorable photographs.

The wedding reception featured an exceptionally refined and beautiful decor meticulously planned by the bride. Despite the classic wedding style, Maggie incorporated vibrant accents with great attention to detail. The tables were adorned with arrangements of exquisite blue delphiniums white and pink roses nestled in greenery. Also, floating candles on the tables added a unique romance to the ambiance.

As the sun set, just before the commencement of the reception, she captured beautiful portraits of the couple. Each photograph served as a reflection of the love shared between these two wonderful individuals.

The beginning of the reception was marked by the vibrant entrance of the bridal party, starting with the friends of the couple. The bride and groom appeared before the wedding guests to a rhythmic melody, followed by their entrance.

After the initial applause in honor of the couple subsided, Maggie and Joey cut their wedding cake. It was a true culinary masterpiece, crafted in a classic style and adorned with live flowers, seamlessly complementing the surrounding decor.

During the reception, a joyful and heartfelt atmosphere prevailed. Guests engaged in lively conversations. The sound of clinking glasses and cheerful laughter filled the air. Warm speeches from family and friends expressing their love and good wishes for the bride and groom added to the celebratory ambiance.

Adding a touch of tenderness to the evening was the newlyweds’ first dance. All the guests admired the couple as they twirled on the dance floor, their dance expressed genuine love.

And, of course, the father-daughter and mother-son dances left no one indifferent. The moment when parents danced with their children became the culmination of Maggie and Joey’s wedding.

Maggie and Joey treated their wedding guests to the lively tunes of a live band at the reception. The upbeat performances by the musicians elevated the overall mood, filling the evening with joy and dancing.

Advice from the Bride:

Getting married should be celebrated throughout the planning and big day. Try not to overthink and stress too much because it’s about celebrating with the people who love you.

Advice from the Groom:

Don’t get in the Bride’s way! The wedding day is a blur, so remember to stop and take it all in
