Seinne and Doug met by chance in 2018 and fell in love. The couple became engaged in Los Angeles, and Doug arranged for a helicopter ride before popping the question to his beloved on a hilltop in Malibu. He then pleasantly surprised her with a dinner party, attended by 20 of their closest friends, at the Merois rooftop at the Pendry in West Hollywood.
The bride was previously a candidate for the popular TV show The Bachelor. After finding love outside the media, she and Doug decided to elope with just the two of them. The lovebirds already made their marriage official in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and close friends. Their elopement was perfectly captured by Sabina Procacci, whose passion is focused on capturing couples’ little in-between moments.
Seinne and Doug’s mutual love for travel and adventure made the Caribbean the ideal wedding venue. “We searched through numerous hotels in the Caribbean and were instantly enamored by Belmond Cap Juluca,” said the couple. The luxurious hotel is situated on the picturesque Maunday’s Bay on Anguilla’s charming and lively island.
The bride looked stunning on her special day. What made her look even more remarkable was that she did her own hair and makeup, really showcasing her personal style. She opted for a sleek ponytail with a wavy tail, perfectly balanced modernity and grace. Her makeup was natural, featuring nude lips and subtle winged eyeliner accentuating her deep brown eyes.
Sienne wore a stunning backless gown designed by Eli Mizrahi for Mônot, which exuded timeless beauty. “The venue inspired my dress completely, as I wanted it to seamlessly blend with the Moroccan-style architecture of Cap Juluca and the natural beauty of the pristine beach,” Seinne added. She completed her ensemble with a simple bouquet of white roses.
Doug wore a light-colored tuxedo with a grey tie, which gave him a classy and effortless look. He added a touch of style to his outfit by wearing suede loafers and turtle-shell frames on his glasses.
The groom took a moment to celebrate before catching a glimpse of his bride. He popped open a bottle of champagne with a joyful spirit, marking the beginning of their special day with laughter and cheers.
Seinne and Doug were excited as they awaited the moment they would finally see each other on their wedding day. The prospect of spending the day together, just the two of them, filled them with a sense of thrill and joy.
The wedding aisle was beautifully decorated with white flowers and drapes, creating a serene atmosphere just a few steps away from the sea. The couple’s favorite part of the ceremony was exchanging vows in the sand, with the waves and a local guitarist providing a beautiful background. As they reflected on their relationship and promised each other their future, the stunning natural beauty of the beach served as the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows.
“Seinne and Dough’s love for each other is a connection made in heaven; their photos only represent how special their love is. I feel that it shows how much they adore each other in every picture,” says Sabina.
Following their private ceremony, Seinne, Doug, and their photographer, Sabina, strolled around the resort to capture some stunning photos. The couple exclaimed, “The pictures are breathtaking! Sabina captured our sweetest, most genuine moments that we will cherish forever. She is more than just our photographer; she is our friend!”
The celebration culminated with the two cutting the cake together, representing the start of their journey as a married couple. They savored the sweetness of the occasion and looked forward to the adventures ahead.
