Jennifer and John Brett, first crossed paths at an NBA Pacers basketball game in February 2019. John Brett, attending the game with colleagues, generously offered extra drinks to Jennifer and her friend during halftime at the lounge. This gesture sparked a conversation that led to the exchange of numbers and, subsequently, their first date the following night.

Jennifer and John Brett’s relationship blossomed quickly, and after just six months of dating, Jennifer and John Brett decided to move in together. Shortly thereafter, the global impact of COVID-19 prompted them to quarantine together. Despite the challenging circumstances, they found solace in each other’s company and made the most of the time by cooking together, walking their beloved dog, engaging in puzzles, and playing card games.

The couple shares their home with two mini-golden doodles, Leo and Rory, whom they affectionately treat as their children, with John Brett taking the lead in pampering them.

The couple bond over walks, try new restaurants, and spend time with nephews. Yet, their true passion is travel. Living in a small town in Indiana, Jennifer and John Brett explore states and countries, with Italy as a favorite. Jennifer loves beach vacations, while John Brett favors mountain and Western trips. Travel not only deepens their connection but also creates joyful shared adventures. Laughter and fun define their everyday moments, making each one memorable.

Venturing beyond their small town in Indiana, Jennifer and John Brett chose the picturesque Dolomites in Italy for their intimate elopement. With a breathtaking backdrop in the Seceda Mountain range, they arrived by helicopter.

“My favorite place I have ever traveled is Italy. John Brett loves the mountains. We decided to combine the two and get married on a mountain in Italy! I found Magdalena Glowacka of Fotomagoria online and loved her photography work. The wedding planner, Jlenia Costner helped us plan the details of the day by helping us find a place to stay the picturesque Hotel Fanes, a helicopter to use for an elopement, a hair & makeup artist, cake, dinner plans. We wanted the day to be uniquely ours with no distractions.” shares Jennifer

Jennifer had two dresses for her special day. The first dress for the ceremony was from Gretchen’s Bridal Gallery – a lavish, snow-white gown with a long train adorned with a sparkling belt, creating a luxurious, timeless look. To complement it, the bride chose Jimmy Choo sparkly tennis shoes, ensuring comfort during the mountain ceremony. The second ensemble was more evening-appropriate – a short cocktail dress with an asymmetrical top, paired with open-toe shoes from Nine West.

For her wedding hairstyle, Jennifer opted for loose, curled locks, while the subtle makeup accentuated the bride’s natural beauty.

John Brett chose a classic tuxedo with a bow tie as his wedding attire, complemented by a Rolex watch. In this ensemble, he looked exceptionally elegant, embodying the true essence of a gentleman.

The first look for Jennifer and John Brett was a touching moment. When he saw his beloved in her wedding attire, he couldn’t hide his excitement. It was a moment of genuine emotions and love.

John Brett and Jennifer arrived at their ceremony by helicopter, enjoying magnificent mountain landscapes during the flight.

The enchanting intimate ceremony high in the mountains turned John Brett and Jennifer’s wedding day into a living fairy tale, beautifully narrated through the lens of photographer Magdalena Glowacka from Fotomagoria. After exchanging vows, the couple embarked on a breathtaking adventure—a photoshoot amidst the picturesque corners of the mountain peaks. The portraits capturing this moment appear like frozen frames of a magnificent love story.

Upon returning to the hotel, Jennifer changed into her second wedding attire and headed to the wedding dinner. During the dinner, the couple cut their wedding cake, marking the culmination of this magical day.

Advice from the couple:

•  Remember, your wedding day is about the two of you and what you want! I highly recommend doing exactly what you and your partner want to do on that day, even if it is out of the box. Hire a talented team you feel comfortable with and who aligns with your vision. The vendors for the day will be responsible for the flow of your day and can truly make your day magical. We had the best vendors, and they made our day a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that we will never forget!
