Melina’s connection with Italy began long before meeting Victor. “In 2015, when I visited Italy for the first time, I dreamed of getting married there, even though I wasn’t dating anyone then. Somehow, I felt that Italy held a happy love story for me,” the bride shared. Years later, with Victor by her side, they set out to find a location that embodied history, elegance, and proximity to water. After considering iconic destinations like the Amalfi Coast and Lake Como, they discovered Lake Maggiore — a hidden gem that offered everything they envisioned without the overwhelming popularity of other venues.
As a result, the wedding took place at the luxurious Villa Palazzo Aminta, a venue that seamlessly combines timeless elegance with modern comfort. The property, nestled along the lake’s edge, provided breathtaking views and an intimate setting. The couple’s planner, Suellen Fernandes Weddings & Celebrations brought their vision to life by curating an experience that balanced Italian charm with personalized touches.
Bridal Morning
Melina looked effortlessly stunning in her dreamy gown from Aire Barcelona.
“I wanted something classic with a fairytale touch,” she shared. Her look came together perfectly with a “max tiara” and a flowing veil that added a magical vibe. She carried a soft, pastel bouquet crafted by The Blonde Flower, a beautiful mix of spring blooms.
To finish her look, Melina picked delicate accessories from Priscilla Cabral Design and Sarah Brides that added just the right amount of sparkle. Her hair and makeup, done by the fantastic team at BLBS Management, featured loose waves and a natural glow that made her look even more radiant.
Victor kept it classic and calm in a sharp black suit paired with polished shoes from Eduardo Guinle. He added a touch of personality with a sleek bow tie and stylish sunglasses, making his look both timeless and modern.
Ceremony
The ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of love, held on the villa’s manicured lawns with the serene lake as a stunning backdrop. The couple was blessed with perfect weather, and the floral arrangements by The Blonde Flower turned the space into a springtime dream. Pastel-hued blooms cascaded from tall vases, framing the aisle and altar in soft pink, peach, and blue tones. Even the white chairs were decorated with delicate tones of flowers and greenery, adding an elegant, cohesive touch to the setting.
Melina’s uncle officiated, making the moment deeply personal. During the ceremony, a soprano accompanied by a string trio performed moving hymns. The couple exchanged vows and sealed their union with a tender kiss, surrounded by the beauty of the lake and nature.

The hand-drawn menus and polished gold chargers added a sophisticated yet personal touch.
Reception
The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and an exquisite dining experience. The couple’s wedding cake was a showstopper, created with layers of pistachio and cream with red fruits. Decorated with fresh flowers and candles, it perfectly complemented the vibrant aesthetic of the day.
As the night progressed, the atmosphere transformed into a lively celebration. Guests took colorful accessories such as glowing sunglasses, feather boas, and light-up sticks, adding a playful touch to the party.
