Where Santorini Spirit, Architecture and Fresh Greens Unite

Set against the sun-drenched white walls of The Caster House in Los Angeles, this Santorini-inspired wedding editorial blends modern elegance with mythical charm. Designed by Moon Realm, the shoot offers inspiration for couples seeking a refined, timeless aesthetic. With a palette of creamy whites and lush greens, every detail evokes the beauty of the Mediterranean, merging simplicity with sophistication.

This editorial was designed to merge modern elegance with mythology. Moon Realm envisioned a setting where organic textures and sculptural details brought the Mediterranean’s charm into a contemporary wedding scene. “Our styled shoot concept was inspired by The Caster House’s stunning scenery,” the planner shared. The ceremony featured a dreamy “Cloud 9” setup, subtly referencing the Oracle of Delphi, while the reception carried that ethereal energy into a space designed for both modernity and romance.

"We wanted to capture the essence of Santorini’s beauty and charm while designing something truly one-of-a-kind.”

With Moon Realm at the helm, every detail of this editorial felt purposeful and connected, weaving together architecture, nature, and art. Their eye for blending structured design with fluid organic elements allowed for a setting that felt both refined and effortless. Mythological touches appeared in unexpected places, such as a Pegasus-themed table number that reinforced the ethereal atmosphere. Their ability to transform the venue into a dreamscape—where Mediterranean simplicity met high-fashion styling—elevated the entire shoot, proving their expertise in crafting uniquely inspired wedding settings.

The bride embodied effortless sophistication in the “Moe” dress by Dana Harel, sourced from The Dress Theory. The gown’s delicate lace covered her from neckline to hem, offering a sheer, romantic silhouette that felt both modern and timeless. “When creating the bridal look, we valued styling the entire look around the gown,” shared Krista K. A soft, low bun by Natalia Kozlova and natural, radiant makeup by Yana Kavalerchik enhanced the gown’s intricate details rather than overshadowing them. To complete the look, she wore a delicate veil by VELO and elegant jewelry from A.B.Ellie, adding just the right amount of sparkle.

"We wanted a silhouette that was a statement, yet refined and classic.”

The groom’s look embodied sleek, effortless elegance. He wore a crisp white dinner jacket, tailored to perfection, paired with classic black trousers and a black bow tie. With minimal accessories, his ensemble exuded understated luxury, perfectly complementing the bride’s intricate lace gown. The refined styling added a touch of old-world charm while maintaining a fresh, modern feel.

Few places could better emulate the serene beauty of Santorini than The Caster House. With its pristine white walls, arched doorways, and a crystal-blue pool at its center, the venue provided an immersive Mediterranean backdrop. “The Caster House felt as if you were stepping into a scene in Santorini, Greece. Pure white, plaster walls surrounding a crystal blue pool,” shared the planner. The space’s bright, airy design created a natural canvas for styling elements to shine, from the flowing fabrics of the bride’s veil to the soft movement of floral arrangements swaying in the breeze.

Rebel Creative Co. created florals that were sculptural yet organic, enhancing the space rather than overwhelming it. “Our goal was to create dreamy statement florals that complemented the overall venue, rather than overshadow the great architecture or bridal gown,” they noted. The floral palette featured bells of Ireland, asparagus ferns, passion vine, and sweet pea vines, interwoven with white hydrangeas.

Beyond fashion and decor, every aspect of this shoot was thoughtfully executed. The cake by Ellie & Co. was a minimalist masterpiece, featuring smooth white fondant adorned with delicate floral accents, echoing the bouquet’s natural elegance.

Textural depth was key, with elements like dried grasses and folded lotus leaves adding unexpected dimension. The reception table continued this theme with ocean-blue porcelain plates, textured glassware in soft greens, and chrome flatware from Table Method. A Pegasus-inspired table number sculpture brought a whimsical nod to Greek mythology, completing the scene.

"We felt this was the perfect scenery to be fueled with creativity and endless possibilities."

The editorial’s success was also shaped by light and movement. “A challenging, yet inspiring aspect of this shoot was how bright white the venue was. During peak sun, the white walls almost acted as reflectors which made us think even more intentionally about the use of lighting,” shared Krista K.

Shooting on film added an extra layer of artistry, requiring precision in capturing the contrast of shadows and highlights. The result was a collection of images that felt as effortless as they were meticulously crafted, telling a story of modern romance through a Grecian-inspired lens.
