Inspired by countryside estates, classic cars, and ornate tablescapes, the shoot organized by Marigold Creatives and planned by Infinite Love Events blended timeless luxury with contemporary style, effortlessly bridging past and present.
“The concept was an old money-inspired editorial that had some ornate elements but still felt modern.” With that in mind, the planners set out to design a look that honored tradition while still feeling current. The details were intentional—refined yet approachable, nostalgic yet fashion-forward. It was less about recreating the past and more about reimagining it for today.
Location
Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, CA, set the perfect scene for this editorial. The team with the photographer Genevie Rose chose to shoot at Villa de Fiore on the property, drawn to its beautiful architecture that aligned perfectly with the moodboard’s aesthetic. “The venue is truly one of a kind,” with picturesque grounds and thoughtfully designed getting-ready suites that are ideal for couples.
The courtyard was the perfect spot to showcase a square reception table, intentionally highlighting the structure’s charm. The Sycamore tree and nearby pond created a naturally stunning setting for the ceremony setup—effortlessly elegant and timeless.
Fashion Choices
For the first bridal look, the team leaned into the grandeur of the setting. The gown featured dramatic puff sleeves and an ornate veil that added a sense of opulence while still allowing for soft movement as the bride walked. Hair and makeup by Natalie Rose were kept fresh and modern—a glowy, radiant finish with a low bun that brought effortless charm to balance the regal vibe.
Ceremony
The ceremony design felt like something out of a dream, thanks to nature-inspired floral selections arranged by the florists at Elysian Flower Club. The team behind the vision wanted the blooms to feel like they belonged there—growing wild and free. “Many of the florals we chose were to mimic the natural environment of Monserate,” shared the team.
Pops of green hydrangeas, burgundy cymbidium, phalaenopsis orchids, sea quill, and bells of Ireland added color and depth, blending the line between cultivated design and natural beauty. It was organic, moody, and completely magical.
It's 'Tini Time
This wedding fully embraced the combination of timeless elegance and fresh, modern flair. Instead of the classic champagne wall, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with an espresso martini wall—a creative and fun nod for martini lovers that instantly set the tone for the evening.
The design embraced a vintage, old-money aesthetic while staying fresh and modern. “I wanted to have details that were vintage, old-money leaning,” the team shared, pointing to velvet linens, ornate china, and Lambeth-style cake piping—balanced by bold, trend-forward choices like a square reception table and caterpillar cocktail tables.
Stationery added another meaningful touch to the overall aesthetic. Danielle from Paper Cliché designed custom menus, place cards, and an invitation suite that effortlessly complemented the tablescape. For the flat lays, vintage-style photo frames and personalized Le Labo fragrances brought in a layer of elegance and intention—adding depth to a look that felt both timeless and trend-forward.
