Inspired by the timeless lines of Mexican architecture and subtle European postmodern flair, the concept of this shoot plays on contrasts: sculptural interiors against wild, overgrown gardens that feel almost untamed. It’s a visual conversation between curated structure and soft imperfection, brought beautifully to life with the creative direction of the team at Eterna Weddings, who turned the space into something quietly cinematic.

The vision was to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, refinement and wildness, reality and fantasy. The team imagined a celebration that felt more like an immersive art installation: overgrown yet intentional, poetic but raw. Captured artfully by MC Weddings, the scene unfolds like an immersive installation – intentional, moody, and wildly refined.

Fashion

The gowns and accessories by Guardiola Bridal brought a poetic feel to the shoot – timeless silhouettes elevated by intricate craftsmanship. Known for her sculptural lacework and refined tailoring, each design echoed the spirit of the venue: storied, romantic, and modern.

A voluminous strapless gown with delicate embroidery set the tone, followed by a sleek lace look with a sheer corset and bold neckpiece. The final gown, a textured masterpiece with a structured bodice, captured classic bridal drama, blending movement with striking architectural presence.

Saying “I Do” in Red and White

Set in a storied Mexico City mansion, once the headquarters of Pancho Villa in 1914, this editorial was designed to feel like nature reclaiming elegance. The creative vision centered around contrast: wild, organic florals flourishing within a refined, historic space. A sculptural draped backdrop added visual drama, while soft-toned furniture and flowing linens provided balance and calm. Every detail, from the restrained décor to the architectural framing, was meant to highlight movement, serenity, and the quiet power of nature in conversation with legacy.

The team also added immersive, celebratory elements, like a classic champagne tower reimagined as a tequila tower, bringing a playful, distinctly Mexican twist to the tradition.

Love, Designed Differently

The venue’s architectural details, such as soaring ceilings, ornate moldings, and stained-glass windows, set a tone of grandeur and intimacy. This duality inspired the creative direction, encouraging a play between polished interiors and wild, organic design. Florals by Polen Flores in soft whites, calla lilies, delphiniums, and hydrangeas, were styled alongside ivy, wild grasses, and moss to evoke the feeling that nature was subtly overtaking the space. The tablescape became a floral pathway, drawing guests into a dreamlike garden scene. Candlelight flickered throughout, adding a sense of warmth and intimacy as day turned into night.

The shoot wrapped with a bold dessert moment, a deconstructed pavlova styled more like an edible art piece than a traditional sweet. Its freeform presentation played into the visual story: refined but a little wild, intentional but unpolished. It was the perfect ending to a concept rooted in contrast, creativity, and pushing the expected.
