There’s something about Venice—the light, the history, the romance. This editorial, planned by the team at KR Weddings with the photographer and creative producer Elise Morgan, channels that spirit through a fashion-forward approach, blending the elegance of the past with modern-day glamour in a setting that feels straight out of a dream.

André Schlechte’s film transports you straight into the heart of Venice. Every frame captures the city’s quiet romance—the soft light on the canals, the rich textures of centuries-old buildings, and the couple’s couture-inspired looks. It’s not just a video, it’s a mood—elegant, cinematic, and undeniably timeless.

Fashion Choices

Every element of the bride’s look was carefully curated to embody effortless sophistication. She wore two distinct gowns—each chosen to perfectly complement the setting and mood of Venice, blending seamlessly with the romance and elegance surrounding her.

Hair and makeup artist Anastasia Landtwing created a soft glam look that felt modern yet romantic. The makeup was luminous and understated, highlighting her natural features. Her hair was styled in soft, loose waves—elegant enough to feel bridal, but relaxed enough to feel natural and true to her.

The groom’s look was modern and effortlessly cool. He struck the perfect balance between classic and contemporary in a well-cut tux with subtle, fashion-forward details. Think timeless black and white but with an edge—perfect for a stylish escape through the canals of Venice, champagne in hand, and the city as their backdrop.

Sunrise in Venice

At sunrise, the bride appeared in a breathtaking pink gown by Elio Abou Fayssal, chosen to mirror the soft blush tones of the Venetian sky. As the sun rose over Piazza San Marco, delicate beading and floral embellishments shimmered in the morning light, echoing the golden glow, pastel facades, and timeless beauty of the square.

"Perhaps the shoot's most challenging yet rewarding part was the 4 AM wake-up call—all to capture Venice at its most magical. We wanted to embrace the elusive blue hour and film Piazza San Marco before the city awoke.”

A Peaceful Morning on the Water

The couple savored a quiet boat ride through Venice, just the two of them, gliding across sunlit canals with champagne in hand. With the city still asleep, they had its beauty all to themselves—a rare, dreamlike moment captured beautifully by Elise Morgan. She beautifully captured the essence of Venice and the magic of the sunset, with the couple fully immersed in the moment.

Palazzo of Dreams

The main part of the shoot took place inside Palazzo Pisani Moretta—a true Venetian treasure that feels like stepping into another time. This 15th-century palazzo, with its sweeping canal views and layered history, set the tone for something unforgettable.

Inside, every detail felt like a story: frescoes by masters like Giorgione, Titian, and Veronese, grand halls lined with gold, and chandeliers still lit by hand, just as they were centuries ago. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t just host moments—it becomes part of them.

Painted in Shades of Blue

Deep blue tones and stunning florals by Dmitry Turcan were also woven into the design, echoing the mood of Venice’s iconic blue hour—when the sky and water become one in a rich, cinematic hue.

This detail will speak to couples drawn to romance, drama, and a sense of place, those who want their celebration to feel timeless, atmospheric, and deeply rooted in the destination they’ve chosen.
