A renowned British floral design studio, The Way to Bloom, founded by an American florist, has created gorgeous, scented arrangements for this bridal editorial in London. Their work was inspired by the first hues of Spring and its blooms. The choice of Peach, the Pantone color of the year, sets a gentle mood throughout the shoot. This shade brings a sense of warmth, romance, and soft elegance—the perfect tone for a wedding palette. Each image radiates a dreamy focus, enhanced by natural light, and incorporates the floral surroundings into an ethereal aesthetic of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
"Our goal was to create visuals and craft an experience that resonates with the romantic soul. We wanted to introduce the idea to past brides that they should relive their most joyous day by wearing their wedding dresses again in a featuring shoot with gowns adorned with delicate lace and ethereal tulle. It allowed them to relive memories of their special day and bask in the magic of those unforgettable moments."

The clean, white indoor backdrops focus purely on the bridal and floral elements, highlighting the shoot’s theme. The floral arrangements blend pastel-toned blooms and various textures, creating a visually rich tapestry. This bride’s dress featured a modern, off-the-shoulder design with a fitted ruched bodice and a tulle skirt. An elegant updo hairstyle emphasized her facial features and the dress’s neckline. With a hint of peach color, the bride’s makeup complements the day’s palette.
Plenty of florals covered the mantle, cascading in an organic, waterfall-like shape to appear as if the meadows grew over time. Some unique florals included Icelandic poppies, white lilac, and white clematis, alongside numerous roses, spray roses, ranunculus, and lisitanus in varying colors. The additions of delphiniums and ammi florals added texture, with lush greenery acting as a backdrop for all the gorgeous blooms.
These florals were constructed to be moveable within the space. They consisted of multiple sets of meadows plus a lightweight asymmetrical arch. It gave a picture-perfect moment with a floral balcony.
The second bride wore a stunning gown made from luxurious lace decorated with floral patterns. It had a voluminous ball gown silhouette and a full, layered skirt that cascaded into a wide train. The bride’s wavy red hair was adorned with a delicate tiara and a long, flowing veil extending beyond the dress’s train.
The shoot’s outdoor settings showcase London’s urban and historical beauty, serving as a storied canvas against the editorial’s fresh and modern theme. The contrast between the floral compositions and London’s solid, enduring architecture adds a dynamic layer to the images, infusing them with grandeur and history.
The name ‘The Way to Bloom‘ was inspired by the belief that experiences and struggles can make us grow, and when we grow, we bloom. Sarah, the brand’s founder, sees life as a garden where each journey represents a seed planted in the soil. No matter what challenges we face, we can all grow and thrive like resilient flowers. Events are perfect for celebrating our growth and showcasing our best selves. Sarah and her team have beautifully brought this vision to life in an editorial that captures the essence of blooming.
