Nature-Inspired Wedding Magic in a Hidden Austrian Gem

Planned and styled by the team at Huber zu Laah, with photography by the talented Nicole Schatzeder, this shoot brings together refined aesthetics, historic charm, and a fresh take on spring romance. Hosted at a centuries-old Austrian Vierkanthof, a traditional four-sided farmhouse seamlessly connected to its private church, this editorial captures the essence of quiet luxury, authentic connection, and atmosphere you can feel in every detail.

Fashion

The bride’s look struck the perfect balance between timeless and contemporary. Her off-the-shoulder gown by Villa Brautglück featured sheer long sleeves, luxe fabric, and a bold thigh-high slit—elegant, with just the right amount of edge. Her hair, styled in a soft updo by Elke Aigner, was undone in all the right ways, with a single loose strand and a delicate stole for a modern, romantic finish.

The groom matched her energy effortlessly in a black tuxedo from Mode Schmid, a nod to classic formalwear with a clean, modern twist.

Ceremony Magic

The venue itself felt like a well-kept secret, surrounded by peaceful meadows and dense forest, with a stunning view at golden hour.

Its unique layout, combining a civil and religious ceremony space in one cohesive setting, created a natural flow between moments.

Fresh Spring Vibes

The design leaned into spring’s freshness without being overly sweet. Neutral tones, layered linens, and lush florals by Dreams Atelier and Bloomerei created an organic palette. Moss-covered arrangements and trailing greens added depth, while fractured mirror tiles and crystal chandeliers gave the tablescape a bold, textural finish. It was soft, modern, and just a touch mystical—perfect for couples who want their wedding to feel natural yet elevated.

Handcrafted menus by Simplicity Studio, elevated food and cocktails by La Sorellina, and every thoughtful detail in between were curated to reflect a mood of effortless elegance, grounded in nature and designed for lasting memories.

The cake by I made to Bake was a true showpiece: modern yet romantic, with soft sculptural textures and delicate florals that echoed the styling of the day, turning dessert into an artful finale.

Golden Hour

Despite a few reschedules (and some curious birds), golden hour changed everything—and Nicole Schatzeder captured it with incredible sensitivity and intention. Her work doesn’t just preserve a moment; it evokes it. As the sun dipped low, casting warm light across the chandeliers and shimmering over the water, her images transformed the setting into something almost dreamlike.

Inspiration

Couples dreaming of a celebration that blends timeless elegance with fresh, modern details will find endless inspiration in this editorial. Thoughtful styling, golden-hour glow, and intentional design choices speak to those who value emotion, atmosphere, and beauty with meaning. It’s a reminder that your wedding can be personal, artful, and entirely your own.
