Sonoma County provides the ideal setting for your dream wedding, featuring breathtaking vineyard views, rolling hills, towering redwoods, and the stunning Pacific Coast, all paired with acclaimed food and wine, relaxing spas, and unique adventures. You can make your big day even more special by choosing a chic venue and planning your first newlywed weekend in the county.
Check out this Sonoma spring celebration that’s filled with gorgeous blooms and romantic touches at the newly renovated historic venue, The General’s Daughter. The event was brought to life through a collaboration between Fig & Vine and ROQUE Events, resulting in an exquisite color palette featuring a blend of lavender, red, peach, and green. Raquel Bickford, the founder and executive producer of ROQUE Events, is passionate about design, detail, conceptual ideas, and planning, ensuring that each event is uniquely unforgettable.
Every magical moment was artfully captured by Love Tribe Weddings.
The bride looked absolutely stunning in a bohemian wedding dress from Daughters of Simone. The makeup and hair artist Rachel Lusk created an effortlessly chic bridal updo that made the bride feel like a modern-day Hailey Bieber! This timeless hairstyle is a perfect match for almost any gown, making it an ideal choice for weddings in a Napa Valley vineyard or at San Francisco city hall. It strikes the ideal balance between effortlessness and sophistication.
The look was completed with stunning jewelry from the talented Julie Martin with Scout Fine Jewelry, adding the perfect sparkling final touches.
ROQUE Events and The Lux Productions team added soft draping to the ceremony to create a dreamy atmosphere. In addition, Found Rental Co. provided the most amazing fuzzy chairs for the ceremony and dining seats for guests and a lounge set that added a harmonious touch to the overall design.
ROQUE Events styled two complimentary tablescapes showcasing what springtime is all about freshness + floral. Textures + patterns also played a part in this dreamy day with linen provided by BBJ La Tavola. Tabletop decor was provided by Casa de Perrin, which included Christian Lacroix butterfly china, gorgeous fern green rattan chargers, gustav flatware, and elegant contemporary glassware.
The table palette transitioned from a dominant leafy green to an accent of lavender, creating a subtle yet sophisticated touch.
The team wanted to showcase three modern wedding cakes by Flour & Bloom, elegantly nestled in a floral nest with bold linen. After all, why settle for just one cake when you can indulge in three unique and petite confections? Think bold!
After all the official parts of the wedding, such as the ceremony, reception, and cake cutting, which you’ve planned for months, it’s finally time to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved fun in the relaxed atmosphere with your soulmate. So do whatever your heart desires!
