August Tree Flower Farm in Ontario was the perfect setting for this dreamy editorial—its natural beauty and the vintage charm of the newly renovated guesthouse shaped the entire vibe. Inspired by late-summer blooms and English garden elegance, the shoot brought together a relaxed, romantic atmosphere with thoughtful details at every turn. Gaetz Photography brought the story to life with dreamy digital and film images full of soul and softness, while Shae and Evan added motion to the magic with a beautifully crafted, cinematic video.

The dreamy setting at August Tree Flower Farm set the tone for it all. With endless blooms in every direction, it felt like stepping straight into a storybook. The charming guest house and rustic barn brought just the right touch of whimsy and vintage magic—everything needed to craft a grown-up fairytale with a modern edge.

Location

Tucked in the Ontario countryside, August Tree Flower Farm is straight out of an English garden daydream. With a charming farmhouse that sleeps up to eight and is styled with vintage antiques, it’s the kind of place where a bride and her bridal party can settle in and feel instantly at home.

The grounds are dotted with lush blooms, curious alpacas and sheep and anchored by a grand heritage barn—making it the perfect location for an intimate, romantic celebration. Chosen by the team for its effortlessly elegant English country vibe, the venue brought fairytale energy with a modern, whimsical twist.

Fashion Choices

Erin from The Look Bridal drew inspiration from the soft, glowing tones of Renaissance art, creating a look with radiant, almost translucent skin, a gentle flush on the cheeks, and delicate rosebud lips—classic and fresh all at once.

Amy from Bridal Hair Collective styled two effortlessly modern looks: an undone updo and soft, cascading waves, both reflecting current bridal trends with an elevated, editorial edge. The gowns by Newhite and Alexandra Grecco brought their own sense of poetry to the day—ethereal, sculptural, and perfectly in tune with the romantic spirit of the setting.

It's Tea Time!

Time for tea? Absolutely. This whimsical floral setup at August Tree Flower Farm was a love letter to English countryside charm—with a fresh, editorial twist. Thoughtfully curated antiques set the scene for an elevated garden tea party, complete with fine desserts by Sweet Avenue Cakery and bowls of fresh fruit.

The aesthetic was playfully romantic, enhanced by unexpected guests—silkie hens, Southdown sheep, and charismatic alpacas—all adding character to a storybook setting that felt both timeless and trend-forward.

When You Say "I Do"

The ceremony space bloomed with as much personality as the entire shoot itself. Arranged by August Tree Flower Farm, the florals were a lush, garden-inspired mix of late-summer dahlias in rich berry tones, apricot lisianthus, pink snowberry, hydrangea, and cascading amaranthus.

This vibrant palette echoed the feel of the day—ripe, romantic, and full of life—perfectly complementing the fresh fruit accents and elegant desserts for a look that was both playful and refined.

Dining Beneath the Trees

As the day unfolded, the celebration moved into a dreamy outdoor reception nestled between the trees. The bride made a statement in a breathtaking off-the-shoulder gown that added an effortless touch of romance to the setting.

The tablescapes were a feast for the eyes—vibrant and textured with lush florals, fresh fruits, and beautifully designed stationery by Yaelly Designs. It was a scene straight out of a modern fairy tale, brimming with color, charm, and character. To top it all off, a champagne tower added a sparkling, celebratory touch—an unforgettable moment of pure joy shared under the trees.

The Inspiration

While the team had hoped for sunshine, the overcast skies added a dreamy, moody tone that brought a whole new depth to the imagery. Captured by Gaetz Photography on both digital and film, the photos turned out every bit as enchanting as the location itself—soft, romantic, and effortlessly timeless.

This editorial is a breath of fresh air for couples drawn to a softer, slower kind of celebration—think countryside romance with an editorial twist. It’s for the dreamers who love vintage details, wild blooms, and a bit of whimsy mixed with intention. Whether you’re planning an intimate garden wedding or just looking to break away from the expected, this shoot is full of fresh, creative inspiration to make your day feel uniquely yours.
