In contrast, the streets of Milan offered a dynamic, modern vibe, with the city’s architecture and bustling energy adding an urban edge to their story. With her impeccable fashion sense, Victoria instantly fell in love with the stunning designs of couturier Maria Konidi. “I just had to have one of her dresses for my wedding to Rob,” she shared. Determined to find the perfect gown, Victoria flew from Milan back to Greece to meet Maria and preview her exclusive 2025 collection. “It was love at first fitting!” she exclaimed. Excited about her discovery, she called Rob to share the news. That’s when he came up with a curious idea: a mid-week getaway to Lake Como for a glamorous, dressed-to-the-nines photoshoot that perfectly captured their style and love story.

As soon as they received the most stunning invitation suite from Manou at Manousenia Design, they knew it had to be a part of their shoot. “We just had to include this beauty and use the images on our wedding website along with our Milano portraits,” Victoria shared, for which Maria had created a second dress. Excited about the details, they quickly called Claudia, their Villa Cipressi representative, to finalize their “engagement moon” stay and get invaluable tips on renting the perfect boat.
With traditions in mind and the groom-dress reveal taboo, Victoria admitted she was initially a bit skeptical about doing a First Look. However, with their shared experience in the photography industry—Rob also works in the field—they weighed the pros and quickly saw the benefits.

Though they had the entire day to themselves, the team recommended waiting for the perfect light to filter through the lush greenery surrounding Lake Como. “Cipressi is so beautiful in any season, but having our portraits taken in spring was sheer delight,” Victoria shared.
Embracing the magic of the season, they hopped on a scenic speedboat ride, gliding across the lake and uncovering Como’s hidden gems. With their sweet driver leading the way, they soaked in the views and even scouted more picture-perfect spots for their adventures next year.
Love in Milan
After a quick change into her second stunning Konidi party dress, Victoria was ready for the next round of fun. To liven things up, Panos and Sofia, their talented photographers—and surprise pro-Latin dancers—turned up the music and treated the couple to an impromptu salsa lesson. The unexpected moment added energy and laughter to the day, making the photoshoot even more unforgettable.
The adventure continued when the photographers arrived in Milan the day before, diving straight into a whirlwind three-hour photoshoot. Starting at the iconic Duomo and Galleria Vittorio, they captured the city’s elegance and charm before ending the day with an early dinner at The Manzoni—an unforgettable recommendation that rounded off their stylish pre-wedding escapade.
"You've heard it before - couples planning their big day say, "It's our wedding, we'll do it our way!" But then they get tangled up in 'shoulds' and 'have to's'. Not us! We threw the rule book out the window and dove headfirst into the unconventional. It might feel a bit daring at first, but trust me, just go for it!"
