The sound of crashing waves and the warm embrace of the Mediterranean sun greeted us at the picturesque shores of a secluded cove in Mallorca, Spain. From the beginning, I knew that this engagement shoot with our stylish couple, Ivan and Jazzy, would be something truly extraordinary.
Amelia Soegijono intertwined the couple’s enchanting aura with the serene ambiance of the island, creating a dreamy tableau of pureness, tranquility, and peace. Her goal was to capture the aesthetic beauty of Ivan and Jazzy and their intimate connection—and she did it successfully.
Ivan and Jazzy exuded an effortless charm as they explored the beach. The color palette and outfits were intentionally kept minimal to harmonize with the picturesque surroundings. The lovebirds’ impeccable fashion sense, curated by the talented Stephanie from Nomad Republic, perfectly captured the essence of modern and effortless elegance. Complementing the scenic beauty, the makeup and hair styling were kept natural: beach waves and sunkissed face. Jazzy’s ivory swimsuit and vintage-inspired sunglasses added a touch of retro glamour.

There is a certain magic that can only be captured through film photography. The soft hues, subtle grain, and captivating skin tones give the images a sense of nostalgia and timelessness. I intentionally shot exclusively with film for this engagement session, as I wanted to immerse myself in the simplicity of creating art and telling this precious story.
