When winter’s chill fades, and the first blossoms of early spring emerge, nature bursts into vibrant colors and lights. It’s a season that celebrates renewal, love, and the beauty of life’s fleeting moments. Against this backdrop, Chaise Tinsley, founder of Helaine, captured all the feelings of spring in a stunning editorial shoot. Here, beneath the interplay of shadows and light, nature’s delicate awakening was celebrated with a dazzling display of seasonal florals and effortless chic styling.
This inspirational shoot combined many unusual details and stylistic choices. Embracing the season’s vibrant energy, the shoot beautifully blended nature’s elements with thoughtful design, crafting a space where people could truly shine amidst the refreshing ambiance of the natural world.
This spring editorial shoot was designed to inspire couples to think outside the lens of venue, palette, and scale for their wedding day. Our goal was to create a relaxed and highly intentional experience.

Drawing inspiration from natural elements such as variegated onyx and delicate spring florals like pansies and daffodils, the shoot showcased a captivating palette that contrasted the “dead of winter” with the vivid emergence of spring. This interplay of color and texture was artfully realized through lush floral arrangements and the unique setting of the venue.
BRIDE
The bride’s look was a breath of fresh air, mixing modern flair with a touch of rebellious spirit. The silky gown flowed gracefully with dramatic bell sleeves and an open back adorned with delicate pearl chains, adding avant-garde to the classic silhouette. The vibrant lime-green satin shoes echoed the bold hues of her bouquet, injecting a lively, modern twist into her overall ensemble.
The bouquet was a riot of early spring blooms—pansies, daffodils, and sweet peas—held together with a trailing ribbon, adding to her free-spirited aura. Her refreshingly natural makeup allowed her radiant complexion to shine while her softly curled hair was gently pinned back.
GROOM
The groom’s black ensemble featured clean lines and a sharp silhouette, adding formality to his laid-back style. Instead of the conventional dress shirt, he opted for a cream-colored band collar shirt, lending a vintage-inspired flair.
Adding to his modern aesthetic was a stylish wide-brimmed hat in a light taupe shade. This bold accessory elevated his look from classic to daringly distinctive. The hat completed a retro and refreshingly current look, paired with his neatly groomed mustache and clear-rimmed glasses.
CEREMONY
The ceremony blended spontaneity and intentionality, set against the enchanting backdrop of TBB122. This space, usually a serene café setting, was transformed into a lush oasis of springtime beauty. Against the venue’s striking walls, vibrant floral arrangements spilled over, creating a mesmerizing effect.
When the couple exchanged their vows, they were surrounded by an intimate gathering of close friends and family. Guests were dressed in an eclectic mix of vibrant colors and textures, adding to the overall ambiance of warmth and celebration.
DINNER
The dinner took place on a charming patio, where the chic décor and natural elements created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The table was designed by Michaela and Jessica Namynanik of 89th and Autumn and adorned with vibrant florals, elegant place settings, wicker chargers, black plates, and golden cutlery, balancing rustic charm with modern sophistication. Playful floral-designed napkins added a whimsical touch to the setting. Artfully arranged spring blooms in centerpieces increased the vibrancy. Soft candlelight enhanced the cozy and enchanting ambiance as the evening progressed.
We work with seasonal blooms and palettes that allow for both clients and guests to enjoy life’s best days together. Crafting gorgeous experiences with florals is one way we inspire them to stop and take in the moment best and create a sense of arrival.
