The talented makeup and hair artist Gail Lascina added a refined elegance to the bride’s look, perfectly complementing the serene yet striking setting.
The creative direction, led by host and planner Amber Hansen Events, highlighted the beauty of Lake Como during autumn, showcasing its quieter charm as the seasons shifted. “Our vision was a vintage romance with a dramatic touch. We wanted to capture the timeless beauty of Lake Como while adding a bold and moody vibe,” shared the team. Every element was designed to emphasize the venue’s elegance while incorporating earthy seasonal tones and thoughtful modern details.
The bride’s style was a blend of vintage sophistication and modern grace, highlighted by Gail Lascina’s artistry. For the ceremony, the bride wore a stunning lace gown by Tosetti Sposa, complete with a dramatic hooded cape that added a touch of timeless romance. A shimmering hairpiece added subtle elegance, harmonizing perfectly with the intricate details of the gown.
Describing her approach, Gail shared, “I focused on soft, flowing waves that framed Yana’s face, adding a romantic yet modern touch. Her luminous, dewy complexion paired with warm-toned eyeshadows and fluttery lashes brought out her natural beauty, while a nude glossy lip kept the look fresh and timeless.”

Its classic architecture, sweeping lake views, and moody atmosphere created a romantic setting, ideal for intimate celebrations. The reception decor celebrated the richness of autumn, with florals by Fabulous 4 You featuring muted roses, hydrangeas, and chrysanthemums, accented with greenery and seasonal fruits like pears and pomegranates.
The tablescape combined vintage and modern design elements: flowing blue linens, golden candlesticks, and custom menus by Sable and Serif. Invitations by Aec Creative Co added a refined personal touch, with hand-torn edges and elegant gold detailing. As the evening light softened, the candlelit setting glowed with warmth and intimacy.
The couple enjoyed a peaceful moment on the villa’s terrace, overlooking the serene lake. They toasted with champagne and shared a delicate tiramisu cake, keeping the atmosphere simple yet luxurious. With vintage forks, crystal glasses, and the villa’s sweeping views as their backdrop, the scene captured the intimate joy of a quiet celebration.
Yana & Giuseppe shared, “We had a very good time with the whole team. A beautiful location welcomed us for this special day. A really high-level of makeup by Gail was accomplished in a very quick time! Very beautiful wedding dresses. The photographer and videographer made us feel comfortable right from the start, worrying about our well-being since it is very cold on Lake Como at this time! An experience, however, that we carry in our hearts!”
As the day transitioned into evening, the bride changed into a glamorous beaded gown by Vow’d Weddings. The intricate beadwork and open-back design exuded elegance, while a sheer, embellished cape added drama and sophistication.
