Tuscany, with its timeless charm and breathtaking landscapes, is a beloved wedding destination for couples around the world. This styled shoot, set at the historic Borgo Pignano, offers a fresh take on Jewish wedding inspiration, combining Italian heritage with modern, romantic touches. Planned and styled by Charlotte from La Fête, the vision for this shoot was to marry the region’s iconic beauty with contemporary elements, creating a dreamy yet unconventional wedding atmosphere.
The goal of this shoot was to celebrate Italian culture while adding a modern twist. The shoot beautifully showcases Tuscany’s natural charm while infusing bold, fresh design choices, including a standout green and cream color palette with accents of peach, pink, and gold. The bride and groom’s fashion choices, luxurious decor, and unique floral arrangements came together to tell a story of elegance, tradition, and innovation.
“We wanted to create a photo shoot, inspired by Italian heritage, colors, and aesthetics, but with a contemporary and unique vision, and of course, plenty of romantic touches.”

For the bride, two distinct gowns designed by Cayetana Ferrer were chosen to highlight the shoot’s aesthetic. The first gown, which Charlotte describes as “elegant yet effortless,” featured a low-cut back, artful draping, and delicate lace scalloping. This dress set the tone for the entire shoot with its refined beauty and contemporary style. The second gown was equally striking, featuring a cape, sheer latticed sleeves, and a bateau neckline. This modern twist on bridal fashion created a memorable and unique look for the sunset shots, adding a sense of understated drama.
The bride’s accessories were carefully curated to enhance her look, including an emerald engagement ring, a matching wedding band, rose gold drop earrings, and an emerald tennis bracelet. These pieces not only added a luxurious touch but also complemented the bride’s sequined emerald shoes by Dolce & Gabbana, which were an unexpected yet bold bridal choice.
Her makeup was kept simple with fresh dewy skin, lightly golden eyelids, and a glossy lip. The hairstyle—a low chignon with soft, face-framing tendrils—completed her look with a balance of elegance and softness.
The groom’s look was designed to complement the green-and-cream color scheme. His striking green velvet tuxedo jacket from Oliver Brown stood out against the natural surroundings, adding a unique flair to his attire. “We chose to give the groom’s outfit some color in this shoot, with a green velvet tuxedo jacket that tied in beautifully with the overall color palette,” Charlotte notes. Paired with classic black trousers and a black bow tie, the groom’s look was a perfect blend of traditional and modern, reflecting the shoot’s balance between old-world charm and contemporary style.
In keeping with the theme, Tuscan Wedding Cakes created a tiered masterpiece, complete with pink and white handcrafted sugar flowers and textured finishing, which added modernity to the cake.
Borgo Pignano was the perfect backdrop for this inspiring shoot. A 900-year-old estate nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Borgo Pignano is a luxurious retreat that once served as a farm estate and hospital. The venue’s rustic stone walls and picturesque gardens provided the ideal setting for an intimate ceremony and an elegant outdoor reception, embracing the essence of the Tuscan countryside.
“We were very fortunate to be hosted by Borgo Pignano, a place that offers the best views of Tuscany we’ve ever seen.”

For the reception, the team focused on creating a table setup that embraced the beauty of the venue’s main courtyard while incorporating touches of vintage elegance. The ivy-printed tablecloth set the tone for a natural, understated table design, complemented by pink charger plates, white and green dining plates, and green glassware. The mismatched silver cutlery and gold crockery added a relaxed yet luxurious feel to the table, while green velvet ribbons hand-tied around the serviettes brought a pop of color. The antique stone sculptures and floral arrangements of white roses and foliage by Tuscany Flowers completed the rich yet natural atmosphere.
The stationery by De Winton Paper Co was a work of art in itself. Incorporating hand-painted peach illustrations, Tuscan-inspired tile patterns, and soft peach hues, the stationery tied in perfectly with the theme. “We were thrilled when Harriet from De Winton Paper Co actually included the fruit in the design!” shared Charlotte.
The flowers played a major role in setting the tone for this shoot. The team from Tuscany Flowers created stunning arrangements for the table, as well as a custom bouquet, buttonhole, and a breathtaking asymmetrical chuppah made of cream roses and greenery. This unique design added an unconventional flair to the ceremony area, making it both romantic and unexpected.
“The emphasis was on cream and white flowers, with plenty of foliage to match our green and cream palette.”

Before heading off for their romantic car ride, the bride and groom took a moment to enjoy some traditional Italian gelato by Miss500. Afterward, they hopped into a charming vintage Morris Minor, a standout feature in the styled shoot. The car, adorned with elegant floral garlands, was the perfect choice for a romantic drive through the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany.
As the sun began to set over the rolling Tuscan hills, the couple took a leisurely walk around the grounds, soaking in the beauty of the landscape. They paused at the champagne tower, a beautiful moment framed by the tall cypress trees as the golden light filtered through. With the soft glow of the sunset behind them, it was the perfect romantic ending to an unforgettable day, bringing the styled shoot to a serene and elegant close.
