Juli wanted something beyond the traditional bridal preparations—something modern, chic, and trend-focused. “The bride requested a ‘non-classic’ concept, something contemporary and stylish,” shared Kate from Weds in May. The result was a delicate mix of pink and green, woven into every aspect of the shoot. The stationery, crafted by Aleksa, mirrored this vision with elegant invitations and menu designs, while tableware with rose gold accents enhanced the sophisticated aesthetic.
Serene Start to the Day
The day began with a quiet moment for Juli on the villa’s terrace, enjoying the fresh air before the festivities. She wore a luxurious silk slip dress from Muse Cloths, chosen with the planner’s guidance. “I don’t know why exactly, but it just felt right—it was simply stylish,” Kate said. Bride’s look was complemented by soft pink satin ballet flats by Miu Miu and delicate gold jewelry. Soft, radiant makeup created by Makeup Hair Barcelona and a sleek ponytail added to her sophisticated and natural aesthetic, making her feel comfortable and truly herself.
Morning with Bridesmaids
After, Juli joined her bridesmaids on the lawn in front of the estate. MontRubí, a historic Spanish villa with green shutters and elegant terraces, offered a picturesque backdrop that complemented the soft, feminine aesthetic of the shoot. The natural beauty of the surrounding vineyards and rustic architecture made every moment feel effortlessly timeless.
They helped each other tie white satin bows into their hair, a simple but heartfelt ritual before the big day. Dressed in blush pink striped pajamas, they made a toast with white wine, celebrating the start of a beautiful day. “The hotel produces its own organic wine, and it’s absolutely incredible,” noted the planner.
The girls then moved to the poolside, where they laughed, talked, and captured memories together. Even the envelopes, tied with silk bows, became part of the aesthetic, placed alongside the rings and floral details for an effortlessly romantic composition. “The entire setup was enhanced by the stationery, from the menu cards to the place settings, and the choice of rose gold utensils brought everything together beautifully,” shared Kate, the planner.
The decor was a perfect reflection of the villa’s historic elegance, drawing inspiration from the venue’s soft pink and green palette. The floral arrangements, carefully created by Fine Stems, featured monochromatic compositions of anthuriums, hydrangeas, orchids, gerberas, and roses, creating a balance of structure and natural movement.
Clusters of fresh grapes were woven into the tablescape, adding a touch of the venue’s winemaking heritage. A long white linen-draped table stretched across the terrace, surrounded by woven chairs that complemented the villa’s Mediterranean charm. Soft pink candles stood in delicate glass holders, their hue echoing the florals. Gold-rimmed flatware and crystal-cut glasses added a refined finish to the setting, ensuring every detail felt intentional and cohesive.
